Convenient hotel with nice amenities but 2 problemPosted Aug 27, 2015
Very nice hotel with a diverse clientele and convenient to downtown Charleston and Sullivan's Island (beach). I chose this hotel because I have a toddler and I liked the convenience of the private beach however YOU CAN NOT SWIM IN THE OCEAN AT THE PRIVATE BEACH. If I had known that, I might have chosen another hotel closer to Sullivans island. Also, the AC ran all night and never shut off so I had to wake up several times to turn it on and off. But with those 2 problems I was still happy with my stay and the amenities available.

Very small bathroom. Air didn't work good.Posted Aug 24, 2015
Over priced. Tiny bathroom. Air barely cooled room. Staff only concerned about charging money for everything not about guest being happy. Will not go back.

Great locationPosted Aug 22, 2015
The staff went out of their way to assist us. Great location. The beds were wonderful wish I could take home! No counter in bathroom. Very quiet never heard any other guests once in our room.

Nice place away from the city with a great viewPosted Aug 20, 2015
Pros: I like the views of Charleston and the water
Cons: The only real concern we had was the mattress needs to be replaced but it wasn't a big deal.
Location: The water taxi was at the end of the dock and gave us great access to downtown Charleston. We also enjoyed walking the bridge!
The overall experience was very good. I think this is a great place to stay for the value and the comfort of being right on the water. I would stay here again!

Enjoyed the water taxi and shuttle access to and from downtown Charleston. Quiet evenings walking around the harbor.

Great placePosted Aug 15, 2015
As someone who does a lot of business travel, this was a refreshing change from the norm. Extremely accommodating front desk staff. Unfortunately I had already made plans so I wasn't able to fully use all the great features around the hotel...pool, beach, beach bar.... Next time I'm back, I will need to earmark a few hours to hang by the hotel!

Beautiful location and superior service.Posted Aug 13, 2015
Pros: Staff is exceptional. Location convenient.
Cons: Update rooms. Provide blackout draperies/shades.
Location: A short trolley ride to Charleston. Fifteen minutes to Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms. Close to numerous outstanding restaurants.
Staff is warm, friendly and professional; very accommodating. Lovely pool area and private beach. Location is convenient to downtown Charleston, yet private and quiet. You can avoid paying for parking in Charleston by using the hotel trolley (included in stay). Rooms need updating- showing wear. Mattress was extremely soft-- too soft if you have any back issues. Harbor views are gorgeous during the day. "Light pollution" at night makes for difficult sleeping-- no blackout draperies or shades.

Harbor InnPosted Aug 11, 2015
Pros: Great location on the harbor.
Cons: Clean up the toilet with some paint and chalk.
Location: Lot to do and we did many activities and sites. I wish there were a store near by to by liquor and some other food stuffs aside from Fish House.
Had a a good time. The concierge Jeffrey was great as were the shuttle drivers and the staff. Our room was a bit small and the bathroom needed some paint and bit of cleaning. My bed was too hard as well.
