Days Inn by Wyndham Charleston Historic District

2.0 star property
6.2 out of 10, (1004)
"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....

9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (1002)
"Great location! Walkable to everything we wanted to do for our short stay in Charleston from a carriage ride, to the best restaurants, to shopping the market or King St. The room was charming but far from sound proof, the handles were broken so we could not open the wardrobe, and there were carpenter bees hovering outside the door when it was sunny. Nice bathroom and decent beds. "

"We loved staying here for our kids spring break. Great location, walked everywhere. We parked ourselves in the deck behind the hotel which was easy and convenient (also significantly less that if you chose the valet option). Hotel was beautifully decorated and enjoyed some complimentary champagne one afternoon. Only downside was that the room was a bit small for 4 people. Would absolutely stay here again but without kids or do 2 rooms. Thought it was a little pricey but wanted a great...
