We enjoyed our stay at this Holiday Inn. It was convenient and within walking distance to many historic sites & many shops.

On our way back home from RIC we stayed here as we were meeting a friend for dinner. Great location - Valet parking tho' was 19/nite but well worth it - we did experience the breakfast buffet (hey! we lived in NYC - the prices weren't very different) and the bar at night was friendly. We would choose to stay there again

I thought it was way overpriced for the location. Quite a long walk to the historic district for my 80 yr. Old mother. We had to take cabs. Also, not as clean as I would have liked. There was mold in the shower. Overall, I would not stay there again

This was our first trip to Charleston and the intro. was less than stellar. Despite having a confirmation from Hotel.com that we had a reservation, the hotel reception staff said we didn't. It was a busy week end in the city and there were no available rooms. The staff was courteous and helpful and eventually found us rooms. It was an unpleasant 2 1/2 hour debacle. Still don't know if the problem was the hotel or Hotel.com
