Nice hotel close to everything

All we have to do is go across the bridge to be on Meeting St in Charleston, or cut across to Patriots Point, it's a very handy location. We have been very happy with our stays there. The staff are helpful and friendly. Thanks!

Hotel close to the beach

Pros: Customer Service. Breakfast was good, but too much salt in the oatmeal.
Cons: Aesthetics, i.e. upgrade needed in lobby. They need more TV channels.
Location: It was centrally located so easy to get to the beach and historic Charleston.
This facility needs a bit of an upgrade broken tiles throughout the lobby. The mattress was extremely hard. I realize this close to the beach you do not need to be in your room very much, but when I am in my room and I want to go to sleep I would like to be able to watch TV. While this room had TV the channels are limited. My preference for Hotels is the Marriott but they were sold out. Will more than likely not stay here again. On a positive note the customer service was excellent just not enough for me to stay there again.

Mt Pleasant stay

Pros: Good bathrooms very comfortable bed.
Cons: Carpets were stained and smelled. Upgrade the coffee machine!
Location: Shem Creek and Downtown Charleston are within 10mins. Both locations have great places to eat. The beach is 30mins away. Lots to do in the area.
This is a good hotel for business or vacation...centrally located near great eateries and entertainment. It was quiet most nights. The room was clean but, I found the carpet to be in need of vacuum or steam cleaning. Bathroom was very nice and clean, plus roomy. Water in the shower was not regulated well. It was either too hot or too cold. Despite this issues, it was a decent hotel for the price and I would stay again.

Nice Hotel BUT!!!!

Pros: Customer Service was nice, The room was nice
Cons: THE AC
Location: Location was great!
The AC was cold only if you stood in front of it, the nights in the bed was HOT!!!. The room had a molded small. The pool area - There were no towels and there were people smoking right at the pool! and there were kids in the pool.

Great Location

Pros: The location was great, 5 min. to downtown, 10 min to Shem's Creek Restaurants, 20 to 45 min. to a beach, the staff and service was excellent!!
Cons: Rooms need a small refrigerators and microwaves
This hotel was very good, the staff was great, very helpful and very courteous. The breakfast was very good, both the buffet and items of the menu. Although I was very surprised not to see a small refrigerator or microwave in the rooms. Other than that everything else was very pleasing.

The little details make a big difference.

Pros: The bedding, especially the luxurious pillows.
Cons: Refreg in the room, and free breakfast.
Location: The beaches, and historic sights in the general area.
Generally clean room, especially the bedding. Nice bedding. However there was a mild moldy odor from the air conditioning unit every time it was on. Also, no in room fregg. But the biggest let down for us was the fact that no breakfast was included, especially for the price rate.

Most of our rooms do not come with a refrigerator or a microwave, but we do have select room types that do. Also, being a full service hotel, we do have a restaurant, so every meal is a premium. Beautiful view of the bridge

Pros: Convenience to tourist attractions
Cons: Faster elevators
Location: Less than a 10 minute drive from restaurants, visitor center, aquarium and downtown Charleston
The hotel was a nice inexpensive option that was close to downtown Charleston with breathtaking views of the bridge

Bad Experience

Pros: very little
Cons: Customer service; room amenities
Reservation paid in advance; thought breakfast was included. Room had no refrigerator; asked for extra ice bucket; was treated to big sigh from front desk, although bucket was finally delivered. Next morning, was informed rate did not include breakfast. Front desk simply stated "you made your reservation through Expedia" and made no effort to apologize for misunderstanding. I asked for a comment card and was told they didn't have those. To be fair, room was clean and a/c worked, although only warm water came from bathroom faucet. I would not stay at this hotel again, and at this point, not real sure I'll stay at another Holiday Inn.

We actually do not offer comment cards, but you are always more than welcome to share your concerns with a member of management either face to face or via email.
