NIce location - close to the beach and all activit

Pros: clean & well kept
Cons: We didn't get the free Breakfast with our stay
Location: Excelent location
Nice facilities - good value for the money. Great location. Nice amenities. Staff was pleasant and friendly.

As we are a full service hotel with a restaurant, breakfast is a premium, but there are package rates the include breakfast in the price of the room. Maybe you can look into that option next time. Nice and quiet...The only thing. .the lady who took the order for breakfast she wasn't really nice.

Good Location.

Cons: There is a slight musty smell from the corridors and the bathroom could have been a little cleaner.
Overall me and my husband had a satisfying experience even though it was a last minute booking. The hotel is at a good location, very near the Sullivan Island Beach as well as the Isle of Palm beach. Good restaurant was all within driving distance and it was easy to go to downtown Charleston. There is a slight musty smell from the corridors and the bathroom could have been a little cleaner. But it was fine for me and my husband to have a comfortable stay overall.

Needs update and a refresh

It just needs a major update. Especially the restaurant, though the food and service was fine. Just very dark. And they seemed so understaffed. Never did get the shower curtain we had asked for so had to take a shower two days without one.

We booked a double with roll in bathroom but were given a king room. I asked the front desk for a double but they were all sold out. A customer waiting in line behind us offered to trade so that worked out well. It also took a very long time to check in as only one person was working.

Dear Deborah, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. I noticed you mentioned that you thought you reserved a room with two double beds with a roll in shower in the bathroom. However, we do not offer that type of room at all. All of our ADA rooms offer king beds only, and only two of those have a roll in shower. The others have a tub with bars. I am glad to see that you were able to get a room with two double beds. Thank you again, and we appreciate the feedback.

Good location, decent room

room was nice and location was a very short driving distance to downtown Charleston and Isle of Palms. The hotel was located off of a main rd. Do not put the hotel address in your GPS because you will not find it. Room was small but nice. The only issue was you could hear everything outside of your room like other room door slamming shut and conversation in the hallway. The rooms are not very sound proof from the noise in the hallway.

It's great for Location

Staff was neutral- not welcoming but not rude. A bit louder than I prefer, but not over the top. The room was not completely clean and reeked of cigarette smoke despite requiring that I sign a no smoking policy at the desk. The location, however, is ideal for anyone looking to visit historic downtown Charleston. Literally just across the bridge. Big points for that.
