Unacceptable

It’s unfortunate for such a beautiful facility To be being neglected, we were first placed in room 408 which came to find out the bed was completely full of hair totally disgusting front desk gave us no problem changing rooms moved us to room 508 which the bed was cleaner but what appeared to be blood stains all over the curtain , For the inconvenience they gave us two complementary breakfast, waited 25 minutes at a dirty table with out one Staff member asking us if we need assistance , Had to ask two different people for silverware 90% of the buffet had no food what was there was cold my wife and I are not ones to complain but for $130 a night this is totally unacceptable. Brought these issues to the attention of the morning front desk and management were treated nice enough but was told they could not do nothing at the time due to us booking through third-party , They didn’t know how to proceed,They assured us we would hear from their superiors on Monday we will see how that goes

Dear Dan, In researching your comments I find that you spoke with our restaurant supervisor who offered to cook you something off the menu rather than the buffet. I also was told you were offered to get snacks from our Suite Shop. Our Housekeeping manager also indicated he spoke with you while at the front desk. So my sincere apology that these issues were experienced and that my managers were not able to resolve them prior to your departure. Our Front Office Manager will be calling you this afternoon to discuss the issues and see how we can resolve them to your satisfaction. Thank you for bringing them to my attention. S Arnold, GM

Location: not a lot to do in Charleston WVA on Sunday. hotel staff helped me to find activities to occupy my time until I left town.
stayed there one night, so I couldn't experience all of the amenities. staff was great. room was very comfortable and clean. had the buffet breakfast at the hotel restaurant, was really good. recommend this hotel highly.

Its a perfect place to stay

Pros: My wife and I drive from Chicago to Hampton Roads VA several times a year. We choose to stay at this Holiday Inn because it has everything: large pool
Cons: lighting in the restaurant and bar area could be improved. Seemed it was too bright to easily relax. Maybe because this area is against the corridor.

We choose to stay at this Holiday Inn because it has everything: large pool, restaurant, bar, exercise room, comfortable beds and pillows. Its clean and well maintained. Easy to get to from the interstate. very enjoyable stay!
