Decent place in a great location

Good place for a cheaper stay during a bachelor party weekend. Reserved 3 rooms with a view of the river... all were fine, but didn't get them all beside each other as requested. Rooms were clean, but hardware and furnishings were beat up (sliding door to balcony looked like it had been shot with a 12 gauge by how many times the lock looked like it had been reinforced). Shuttle driver on Saturday was crazy and drove us around for 25 minutes to go a mile and a half. Take an Uber.

Pros: Easy access to Downtown.
Cons: Housekeeping in bathrooms. Air conditioning did not control well.
Location: Quick & Easy access to Downtown. View from our room was pleasing.
Good location, easy access to downtown area about a 7 minute drive. Hotel is older but maintained. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds.

Pros: again the shuttle service
Cons: it should run every hour- peak times until 11pm , 5-11
I love the shuttle service, it makes the stay very enjoyable.

Super views

Hotel needs some updating, repair. Peeling ceiling paint. Very clean. Very friendly staff.

Our go-to home away from home while in Charleston.

The entrance & exit for this hotel are on very busy roads but parking is plentiful. Check in was quick. Our 10th floor room had a lovely water view and a balcony, however the doors were sealed, which I appreciated,having 2 young kids. The beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet on the top floor restaurant. This hotel is around 1.5 miles from all the activities in downtown Charleston without the steep prices. We also went to Folly Beach, approx. 9 miles from the hotel, for a guided dolphin cruise. We love visiting Charleston and will probably make this our go-to hotel.

OK hotel. Major booking problem.

Pros: Good location. Service staff was nice.
Cons: Food could have been better, breakfast buffet that we had to pay for, was cold because of the way the presented it, no covers on the containers.
Location: Charleston is a beautiful city with a lot to see and do.
I attempted to book a King Room through Expedia at this hotel. When I arrived the hotel said they did not have a King Room available because the reservation they received from Expedia did not specify a King Room. All they could provide us was a small corner room with two double beds, for the same price that I had received an email confirmation from Expedia stating I would be staying in a King Room. They said they could not do anything about it, since I had booked the room through Expedia. So neither the Hotel or Expedia would take responsibility for the failure with my room reservation, and neither would provide any compensation for my wrong room and price. Food was OK. Staff was nice.

Nice rooftop restaurant

Hotel was fine. Our room was quite small but nice and clean. Lobby was very small and not too comfortable. The rooftop restaurant was very nice, views were wonderful and food was good.
