Pretty hotel but not a lot of amenities. Manager of this property very unprofessional and rude. Poorly run hotel. Room was a nice size with a full kitchen which was nice

The Bella Grace is a beautiful, new hotel. The restaurant next door, The Delaney Oyster House is a great spot for brunch on the porch, dinner or just drinks at the lovely bar. There is a great park on the next block where there’s a market on Saturdays. The room was newly Redon and super clean. The bed was very comfortable and there were actually channels to watch. We loved having the “living room/kitchen” area. The room was extremely loud though, at first we thought it was the refrigerator, then the air conditioning, but later realized we were next to a closet making all the noise. Loved the walk to King St and Meeting St. It was just a great place in a great location. The valet guys were actually super helpful.

This may be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The price was outrageous for the poor quality of service and amenities. The a/c system was so loud it was unbearable. When I called I was to that was just the way it was. No fix, no suggestions to make it more tolerable. The vinyl flooring was peeling up in several places. There were not enough towels and they had to wash more (while we waited to shower) before they could deliver more. We were in a handicapped accessible room with a roll-in shower. The water leaked halfway across the bathroom. No bath mats and not enough towels to clean up to make safe to walk in the bathroom. The coffee maker didn’t work (so loud it would wake the dead and only made a teaspoon of coffee). I brought all these issues to the attention of the front desk and NOTHING was done. No offer of compensation. Nothing. There were no amenities. For $800 per night it was outrageous. Front desk staff was rude. The only staff that were terrific were the valets. Save your money and stay ANYWHERE but here

The hotel is relatively small and quiet, but the rooms are big with a small kitchenette. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, with easy walking distance to everything! The hotel also offered many suggestions for where to go to eat and for entertainment. Charleston is a wonderful city, and I loved staying at the Hotel Bella Grace. I’d highly recommend it, and would stay there again.
