Well, you get what you pay for.

Ugh! The manager was really nice so I feel a little bad complaining. But this was one of the roughest, most rundown hotels I've stayed in, even given the price. It just felt like everything needed a good scrubbing or a total makeover. To give an example, not a single one of us felt okay using the shower in the morning. And it's not that we're not used to high-end hotels or anything, this was just icky. It is really inexpensive and we were just there for a night, so no harm done. The other thing I should mention is that if you're allergic to smoke you should probably avoid the place. We were in a nonsmoking room but there were people smoking just outside the room and in nearby rooms so everything smelled. Finally, there is no complimentary breakfast (or any other kind of breakfast) although that is listed on the hotels.com website and was confirmed for us by the hotels.com rep we spoke to on the phone. Again, just to emphasize the iffy nature of the place, my usually tough husband said he was relieved not to have to eat there.
