I am horrified with this property. Make sure you empty out your suitcases before bringing into your home. The smell is a cockroach infestation. And in the middle of night went to bathroom and there they were the roaches. I threw out my suitcase when I got home. If I didn’t know that smell I would never have known. I just want others to be safe because once one gets in you will always have them.

There were holes in the floor of the room. The shower pan was not stable, it was bubbling in areas around the drain. It cracked when I stepped in the shower. Very scary. Grout was not clean. Cracks in grout at base between shower wall and whatever pan system is installed. The holes in the floor, under the carpeting were also extremely concerning. Major structural issues. Elevator needs upgrading. Would not recommend and curious if building has had proper state inspection certs verified.

The AC was extremely loud and inefficient. It kept us up all night. The comforter had blood stains on it. For a newly purchased property it needs to be updated in looks and amenities. Not worth what we paid.

Thank you for taking the time to complete our online survey regarding your recent stay. After researching the reservation, I found that no mention of any issues had been made until today, when you came down with your bags to check out a day early due to weather. The reservation was a non-cancellable one and I understand you being upset with not getting refunded. This is why I recommend everyone book a flex rate, although a little higher, is like insurance. If the issues above were present, you should have told the desk immediately and we would have gladly changed the room for you. Again, sincere apologies for not exceeding your expectations.

This property was clean and very reasonably priced. It is approximately 7 minutes to Charleston and next to many of the Mount Pleasant attractions. A perfect location with easy access to all our planned activities.

Great location, very clean, with comfy beds and great showers. Noise from traffic outside got loud at times but it wasn’t a big deal. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

We were granted late check out( 12 noon). They day of the check out, we informed housekeeping that we will check out at 12 as advised by front desk during check in. We went out to grab some stuff and left my mom in the hotel because she had trouble walking. A “supervisor” came knocking at 11 informing my elderly mom that she needs to be out. My mom told him that we were granted late check out but he insisted that they don’t allow late check outs. She was told that she has to be out of the room in 30 minutes, my mom who had to gather all our stuff, all by herself and bring everything out to the lobby where she waited for us. Shame, shame, shame! Very unapologetic and plain rude! I would’ve been ok with the dated rooms and musky smell because of the proximity and the price but the attitude Jonas gave was just unacceptable. And yes, I had to mention your name because you were unapologetic all the way! I do hope you learn something from this and probably get some training or better yet find another job that you’ll love.

A great hotel
Everything was great with only one exception. The beds in our room were very hard. But I think that’s the luck of the draw as they say. I’m sure other rooms had more comfortable beds . The hotel was very clean, a great location and the staff were very friendly. We were very happy with the hotel overall and will look to stay there again when we are in Mt. Pleasant.
