Nice location and laid back

Hotel in general was nice. Room was spacious but could use an update. Shower was roomie but tub could we redone. The views are awesome if you get the creek balcony view. The first thing I noticed was the smell. The room smelled nice. It didn't have a moldy or old smell to it. I appreciated that.

Pros: helpful staff. convenient location. the nature walk surrounding the hotel was nice and four restaurants right on water with hotel
Cons: online photos don't reflect shabby condition. missing ceiling tiles in lobby, toaster that should have been replaced years ago, etc.

Great and friendly service and a great view! Hotel is beginning a needed update in the next 2 days so - no ice machines. Clean, comfortable room but ready for an update. Love the location!

Needs remodel

Pros: Convenient location
Cons: See above
Location: Good seafood in walking distance
Reasonably comfortable but desperately need a remodel. Bathroom counter is too low for an average sized person in this decade. The lighting is extremely poor. Very difficult to apply make up or read. Looks very old and tired

Well the customer service really stunk. We tried to check in so we could get ready for my brothers wedding and we waited for 15 minutes and NO ONE came to the desk. So we left went to the venue. That is where I shaved my legs and tried my best with my hair and walked my brother down the isle for our mother that pasted 15 years ago. No shower and updet. When I told the gentleman later that night what happened all he said was "what time". I couldn't believe it.

Nice place

When I got to the hotel I was about 2 hours early for check-in but the young man at the desk said that my room was ready for me. Most of the staff was pleasant to deal with. When I got to the room I was pleasantly surprised to find a soaker tub in the bathroom. It was generally nice but when I found out they were going to be closing the first of November for a 4 month renovation I could see little things that really needed to be done. All the rooms have a balcony which is nice to have to see the sunset/sunrise. It is located within walking distance of several restaurants and shops. The park/boardwalk next to it is really a nice place to walk and see nature. Parking is limited but tolerable. Would love to go back after renovations!

Great location with beautiful views. They are closing down 11/1 for 5 months for a total redo. Should make it a 5!

Mount Pleasant 's secret hide-a-way

Was a great place to relax and enjoy the sunset. B reakfeast bcccould have been better would like to see more protiens like yogurt and milk.

Excellent find for a hotel

Incredibly friendly staff, great area just a few minutes outside of Charleston's downtown area. Wife and I went with 1 year old, staff helped in providing a pack and play for him to sleep in.
