Just OK

Pros: helpful staff. convenient location. the nature walk surrounding the hotel was nice and four restaurants right on water with hotel
Cons: online photos don't reflect shabby condition. missing ceiling tiles in lobby, toaster that should have been replaced years ago, etc.

Nice place

When I got to the hotel I was about 2 hours early for check-in but the young man at the desk said that my room was ready for me. Most of the staff was pleasant to deal with. When I got to the room I was pleasantly surprised to find a soaker tub in the bathroom. It was generally nice but when I found out they were going to be closing the first of November for a 4 month renovation I could see little things that really needed to be done. All the rooms have a balcony which is nice to have to see the sunset/sunrise. It is located within walking distance of several restaurants and shops. The park/boardwalk next to it is really a nice place to walk and see nature. Parking is limited but tolerable. Would love to go back after renovations!

Great location with beautiful views. They are closing down 11/1 for 5 months for a total redo. Should make it a 5!

Great location right on Shem Creek.

This hotel was in a perfect location for exploring Mount Pleasant. We loved the waterview from our room and the convenience of walking to waterfront restaurants. We also walked next door to the kayak rental for an early morning explore on the water. Breakfast provided was minimal, but gave us enough energy to paddle. I was worried that the local bars might be loud at night, but I didn't hear a peep.

Out dated facility. Not as described in ad.

Receptionist was polite. Facility had a great view if you were able to get a water view room as described in room description. 70.00 more to upgrade. Continental breakfast was poor. Fruit loops, yogurt and bagels. Room was drab and outdated. Had to slam the door to close. A lot left to be desired. Stayed at the "aloft" in n. Charleston for the same rate and i would considered them a 3.5 star. This hotel was 2.0 at best.

The rates of our rooms do vary based on the type of view, which is why there was an additional cost if you wanted to upgrade to a view of Shem Creek. We understand that our product could stand to be refreshed, which is why we will be closing the hotel in a month to do an entire property renovation. We hope to see you again once we reopen!

Pros: Wonderful Location on the water near restaurants and entertainment .
Cons: I would suggest ample seating area in the breakfast. Not everybody prefers to eat in their rooms I believe there were only #2 high tops and 2 tables.
Location: Close to Charlestown , Patriots point, isle of palms and Sullivan's island,fort Sumter .
Amber,Amber,Amber.cant say enough about her. Very professional. Awesome personality.Guests are her #1 concern.. Always happy to see her as we were in and out of the hotel. Lots of short conversations with her. Also she is a original MICHIGANDER !!!!

Very nice place, the bath tub just need and update, and the breakfast was very poor. But everything else was great.

Last minute thing

Husband was their own business it was a last-minute plan love the location . But the hotel and the rooms could really use some updating and maybe some better housekeepers
