Quaint little hotel was a pleasant experience from start to finish. Staff obviously works hard to make everyone's stay a special one.

Good location close to a variety of restaurants. Decent free breakfast, better than the usual continental breakfasts supplied. Room was large with a better than average selection of channels available on the TV

Wonderful experience!Posted Jun 16, 2015
Pros: Everything. The staff, the room the breakfast, etc.
Cons: A pool would have been nice, but everything was great!
Location: We came for a family reunion. We lived near there about 30 years ago. This trip was strictly getting together with family.
Our stay was excellent! Couldn't have been a better experience for us. We would love to come back and stay longer sometime. Everything was perfectly wonderful. Thanks so much.

We enjoyed it very much and appreciate the help you gave us when my friend misplaced her I pod. after finding it, you called us and then sent it to her home address. We thought that was a great relief to her and we appreciated it very much.

Stayed here because it was our halfway mark to Indiana. Good continental breakfast. Exceptionally clean room. Very comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Easy to find off the interstate.

Great value, good locationPosted Feb 9, 2015
Pros: I very much liked that the stairs to the upper floors were not hidden off behind firedoors and decorated with prison chic, like so many hotels.
Cons: A work-out room would be nice A list of restaurants in Charleston, with location information would be nice, too.
Location: The co-located family restaurant was fine for a quick supper on arrival: friendly staff, prompt service, diner/truckstop fare at reasonable prices.
I was very pleasantly surprised by the overall condition of the facilities - extremely clean, pleasant and well-appointed. Having WIFI was very important to me and it worked flawlessly. The location above the Elk River afforded some nice scenery, and access to downtown Charleston via I-79 was a breeze. The breakfast buffet was another very pleasant surprise, in both quality and variety. Being able to take the stairs (wide, well-lit, carpeted, inviting stairs leading right into the lobby) when not toting luggage was a sop for not having a work-out room. The elevator, also convenient and clean, worked when hauling. Management at this hotel obviously has a great training program and it shows in the positive outlook of the staff.
