Welcome to Behren's Island! Not really ON an island, but a view that has inspired & been painted by several local artists. From the windows you are able to see the historic Morris Island Lighthouse and panoramic marsh views.
Our home has been divided into a duplex. Your private, recently renovated two bedroom/ two bath flat occupies the top floor of our elevated home. From the top floor, as well as your private ground level patio, you are afforded amazing views from the property.
The colorful lounge area was inspired by our trips to Spain, France and Central America. A full service kitchenette includes everything you may need to make your stay enjoyable. The dining table seats four and offers spectacular views!
The "Charleston Room" is elegantly furnished with antiques and has a t.v. and sound machine. The impressive ensuite spa bathroom was just renovated and has a jetted tub for two, as well as a large stand alone shower and dual sinks.
The serene "Folly Room" has photos and prints of local sights. It is furnished with a loveseat, queen bed, dresser, and sound machine. The guest bath serves this bedroom.
Designated, off street parking for two cars (only).
Private, ground level patio seats four. It is dedicated for your stay and has expansive marsh views!

Guest pets are not allowed, no exceptions.
Professionally cleaned between check-ins with Lysol and Clorox products. We do not have an on site washer dryer for quests.
The property is fully licensed through Charleston County.
We are 2.5 miles from Folly Beach, just off Folly Rd. There is a dedicated bike lane. Harris Teeter grocery, a gas station and beach store are across from the neighborhood entrance.
A variety of popular restaurants with outdoor seating are nearby, as well as fantastic pizza delivery from several restaurants.
Historic Downtown Charleston is 7 miles/15 min away by car, or approx $15-$20 via ride share. Some of the finest dining and shopping in the southeast can be found downtown, but make sure to leave time to take in some of the beautiful historic landmarks that made our city famous.
