Pros: The amenities.
Cons: Breakfast should be included in the stay. The restaurants should have way better food and lower prices.
My husband and I had a wonderful vacation. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The beach and pools were amazing! The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was more than ideal. The only complaint I would have is that the food in their four restaurants was not very good and it was way overpriced. There is a resort fee for each day you are there which I feel should include a complimentary breakfast.

Nice hotel and 4 property owned restaurants onsite. Customer service was disappointing. The staff act like the customer is an inconvenience. Food is very overpriced.

We stayed in the Frenchman Reef section of the hotel. During our stay we had dinner at the Aquaterra that was classified as Italian food. I was rather disappointed to find a small selection on the menu. We had very little hot water for showers on certain days. I think this was due to the number of guest in the building. Overall we loved the resort and accommodations. This was our second trip here. The cab companies seem to have a monopoly on fares. To go to red hook area was $10 a person each way. That's $40 to go there for dinner.

Location: Nice restaurants about 10 minutes from the hotel.
Hotel was ok average Hotel Manager needs to provide his staff Customer Service classes. The beach at the hotel was great ( I like beaches with waves). Food in the hotel was ok average.

I stayed at your hotel 8/25-8/29/17 because to celebrate my wife's 55 birthday, we stayed at this resort 15 years ago and love that it is a beachfront property. We were looking for something to do at night and there was nothing to do after 9p. We were at the Morning Star which was completely quiet. My wife was very upset because we went to the main building and there wasn't anything to do. So her birthday was ruined. We had breakfast everyday at the Aqua restaurant and on our third day there, one of your waitress told us that we could have gotten a discount coupon and saved $6 a day. We were even more upset because we frequently stay at Marriott hotels and refer our friends and family to your brand so I know that at check in the front desk agent usually tell you about these things. The agent we had didn't mention anything about the amenities. We also had an ice maker in our room that didn't work and was told that someone would bring us ice and they never showed up. So this stay was not great at all and I will look into staying at another property in my next visit there. When we mentioned these issues at check out we were told that there is nothing you can do to compensate us and that we should have asked about the breakfast coupons because it is not there job to tell us. This is not good customer service at all and I spent a lot of money for a bad experience.

Hotel stay was pleasant. Beach and pool was excellent and well kept. The staff on premise was really attentive. Rooms could use a little moderation but, was okay.

Cons: Better customer service, the staff were not always friendly and I felt some did not enjoy their jobs
Location: This was close to the ferry terminal to go visit St John, take a tour of the island and plenty of shopping areas. There were plenty of good restauran
When we checked in we were told when you book through a third party your room selection is not guaranteed. So they thought we would accept a king bed for three people and offered a roll away bed. That was not acceptable so we waited for a double bed room to open and be serviced. The food was expensive and the taxis are expensive and charge per person which was something I had never experienced.
