Was not given information regarding hotel services. Overpriced for what you get! Cleaning staff excellent. Room had chipped paint. Sheets were not very soft

Worth the cost; Check-in delay was the problem

Pros: The customer service
Cons: Nothing, since they have little control over occupants leaving when they are supposed to (the people occupying our original room just didn't leave)
Location: The hotel is in the center of downtown & within walking distance of the Epicenter & the stadium, as well as many restaurants & other venues
The hotel is fantastic & the stay ended up being delightful, though I had my doubts at the onset. Our room was not ready at check-in, or even for quite sometime after the usual check-in time. The main problem was that we had dinner reservations for 6 PM so our time for waiting was limited. Though the staff did offer us the use of a room to change clothes, we sis not want to go through process of getting luggage from bell staff only to send it back until our room was ready, The manager did comp our drinks in the lounge while we waited, which was nice. Finally, they said our room was ready; however, when we got to our suite there was a king bed & a pull out couch which was not the two bed suite for four adults that we had reserved, We did not want the discomfort of a pull out couch, especially since we had reserved a suite w/ two beds. In order to resolve the issue as I guess our original room was still occupied, the manager comped us an additional regular room for use in addition to our suite. So it all worked out & the remainder of our stay was what one would expect from this 5-star hotel

room isn't really clean (jelly beans and dirt on the carpet and sofa), but otherwise nice.

A 5 stars hotel ?? Not even 3! Small rooms, just one restaurant with very limited choices, closed a 10PM sharp. No exceptions, even if you traveled 19 hours by car escaping from the hurricane Irma! No breakfast buffet. No brunch on Sunday. The reception is so dark that you need a flash light to go around if you do not wish to fall between low dark tables.
