Hotel is in the middle of an overdue renovation. There was an issue between Expedia and the hotel regarding payment. The clerk kept us waiting while it was sorted out even though it had nothing to do with us.

Give back the Money

Location: there was plenty of activitiesin the area. The location was perfect, simply perfect.
When we arrived the room smelled as if someone had died in it. The hotel clerk said we could not change because the room was pre paid thru expedia. At this point I think expedia should give back or let the hotel give back the money. Truthfully speaking expedia should be ratted. I would give the Hotel a "C" and expedia an "F-". In other words if It wasn't for the smell of the room the hotel would have been better. If Comfort Inn could make a better smell I woould shout out how great it is, for the price.

Nothing Worked

I was in a room where nothing worked. The only thing that worked was the TV and you don't even have to set it up. Staff was rude when we called for help. When we used the airport shuttle the manager was texting and driving.

Horrific Nightmare

Motel was undergoing renovations when we arrived. If we had been told this when we made the reservation we would not have stayed there. The room was dirty and everything was falling apart. The carpet should have been removed by a hazmat team. We had to flush the toilet at least 3 times each time we used it. We both almost fell in the shower because it was so slippery. Twice fire alarms went off and everyone had to exit the building until the fire department determined that they were false alarms. The fire alarms in the room did not work. We had to press all the buttons on the remote to get the TV to work. At the breakfast they were out of butter. On the second day the power went out and was out for 2 days. The electric company tried to fix it but couldn't because the motel's contractor had piled up tools and materials blocking the electric lines and connections. During this time the water didn't work because it had an electric pump. They brought in a generator for the water but there was no hot water. The attitude of the management was "too bad, what do you want us to do about it?" We left and went to another motel for the remainder of our stay.

Pros: location is good, and good restaurant close by, many other hotels close by also
Cons: old.. but under going renovation, will be done soon i hope
Location: best Gentlemen club in town

Smelled bad, dirty, TV & PHONE did not work

My worst hotel experience ever. I'm sure the project coordinator for this location will apologize and say they are making repairs. Expedia, you sent me this as a recommended hotel in Charlotte. Please do not do me any more favors. It isn't the staff that is bad here, the hotel is falling down dirty and nothing works. Really a dreadful experience. I would pay another $100 for a room that I didn't feel posed a danger to my health.

I have wonderful time, friendly staff, clean room and When I come back in Charlotte, I will stay in you hotel again.

OK if you are staying by yourself

the hotel is old.. needs renovation, but it is stayable

Convenient location. Much to be desired.

Check in was smooth. Room smelled musty. Got into bed and the sheets were wet. Called downstairs. Waited an hour and had to go get sheets myself. On the second day, the towels on the bathroom floor were folded and put back on the shelf instead of bringing clean ones. Our reservations were for four people and we had to request more than 3 towels repeatedly. Housekeeping staff pushes carts onto the elevator before guests can step off of the elevator. Much training is needed for staff at this property. Issues reported to management and all they could so was say "sorry" and shrug.
