Expedia client that was treated unequal

Upon check-in, we requested a king size bed as was selected on the reservation. We were told that there was only one room available. It was a Queen bed in a handicap accessible room on the ground floor next to the parking lot. The room decor was very dated and small. If the bathroom door was open then you could not exit the room due to it being blocked. I decided to go to Crown Plaza website to see if there really were no additional rooms available, and I was easily able to book another room with a king bed. So when they said there was only one room left, they meant that is “Expedia style”...I learned my lesson and if I want to book with Crown Plaza again, I will not go through Expedia so I can get a decent room. That’s a shame people!

Easy check-in, convenient location, gorgeous lobby and very quiet. Breakfast was expensive for what you received and the convenience area for last minute snacks and toiletries was also pretty costly.

Great location, clean, and up to date.

The location is very good. In the middle of many local attractions. The one thing I wish they had was valet parking. I expected a four star hotel to have valet parking. But, overall very nice hotel.

I found hairs on the towels/bedding in ththe executive suite where I stayed; breakfast was okay, nothing special. The TV was fuzzy and not great quality. Expected more for the amount that I paid.

Nice hotel but ZERO housekeeping service!

My first impression was it was a very nice hotel and check-in staff was friendly and quick. The room was clean but the ac/heating unit inside was loud and does not turn off but we got use to it. Housekeeping however was never to be seen over the course of 3 nights of our stay. The first night we had our “do not disturb” tag out till 1pm, removed it and even left a tip. We retuned at 6pm without service/room cleaned and tip still on table. The second day, again left a tip, removed the tag from our door at 1:45pm and returned to the hotel at 9pm without our room cleaned and tip again still sitting at table. Both times we had to ask for extra towels and shampoo at the front desk. I will not stay here again.
