The staff were the nicest group of people. The only reason I am giving one less star is that our room was not cleaned while we were out for the day.

Pros: The proximity to downtown and the customer service of the staff. I also enjoyed the restaurants food and hospitality
Cons: Room 326 needs exhaust fan outside relocated away from window
The first room I was in had issues with a loud fan outside the window on the roof which made excessive noise and caused the room to smell like food from the kitchen fumes being exhausted against the window. However, the staff quickly took care of the issue and relocated me to another room which was very nice. the cleanliness was great, the staff was great, and the restaurant was great as well.

Beautiful hotel, not close to downtown though

This hotel is beautiful and has a great staff! We were visiting from Raleigh, NC to celebrate our wedding anniversary and go to the Hornets game. The hotel is 5 mins from downtown when driving but at least a 15 min walk so not ideal if you want to walk downtown and explore. However, the hotel offers complimentary shuttle within 3 miles of the hotel so you can always elect to take the shuttle and they will pick up until 11:00PM as well! The complimentary HOT breakfast includes waffles, oatmeal, grits, bacon (or turkey sausage, pork sausage), boiled and scrambled eggs, cereal, muffins, sausage gravy, biscuits, assorted fresh fruit, and juice. They also havehave fruit infused water as well! My husband and I enjoyed our stay and the staff was so kind and accomdating! The only con for the hotel is very close to the main highway so we kept waking up to the LOUD sounds of sirens, beeping horns, and traffic...... I would likely pick a hotel closer to downtown next time or stay here when its a bit warmer for walking. The lady that works in the kitchen was super sweet!

Nice hotel close to all the good nightlife spots.

I thought the hotel was beautiful. It's in a good location. The shuttle service took us where we wanted to go. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast in the morning. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Charlotte.

Pros: Amenities. Modern design. Beautiful outdoor space.
Cons: Need better food options. Shouldn't charge for parking. Too far to charge for long walk to downtown.
Location: Location could be better.

I had to hurry and find a hotel downtown to go to a conference at another hotel since that hotel had sold out. This hotel was very nice and I would totally stay there again.

I was very upset with the staff when they decided that it was okay to swipe all the money off my checking account and except cash from me when it was time for me to check out but didinr tell me that my room was already taken care of through my card. I got stuck in a city with nowhere to go because the hotel had all of my money on my card as well as all of my cash. Apparently it was against hotel policy to return cash back to a customer even though they already paid through a debit card. They didn't even offer me a room to stay in till I was able to get my money back from my bank. Luckily I had a friends house that I could stay over for a few days. If I didn't I would've been sleeping out of my car because of this hotel. I would recommend the hotel for the nice rooms but not the breakfast and definitely not the staff! Not even the manager but if you do I would suggest you ask them first if your room has already been paid for with the card you have them to hold your room. That way you wouldn't be paying twice.

Good location

Good location, bright sunny lobby overlooking the pool area, well designed bar/cafe/ and adjoining breakfast room. They had a bank of computers and printer to use when needed. Staff was friendly, efficient, and helpful. I thought the room was a little small for the price I paid midweek, but it had all the basic necessities, plus a wide screen TV, and small but clean and modern bathroom.

Room cleanliness

My biggest complaint about this hotel is the room cleanliness. Our bedsheets was not changed and when I called the front desk that evening we got back I was told they do not change the sheets daily unless asked. I then proceeded to ask them "even if the sheets was visibly soiled" because the sheets had some blood on them and blood on the pillow. They said yes even if they are visibly soiled we have to ask for them to be cleaned with a tag on the door. I proceeded to inform them that there was no tag for the door for sheets only for towels. They wanted to come clean the sheets but it was already 11pm at night. I also know they didnot vaccum the floor and how I know this is because of some stuff that had spilled on the floor was still there when we got back. So basically the hotel was nice, staff was ok as far as being nice but as far as upkeep in the room it was bad. I had never been in a hotel where housekeeping didn't change the sheets, especially if visibly soiled, along with general picking up and vaccuming. This was very frustrating.
