My room, 511: broken cabinetry, broken shower wall, musty odor.
The staff: I spent my entire breakfast listening to front desk person read guest reviews aloud the proceed to trash talk the reviews. This was followed with an encore of guest-bashing chatter with a coworker. At one point going so far as to say, “this woman complained about the pool not being open and I was like ‘the pool isn’t part of the cost, it is a bonus.’” This particular front desk clerk obviously lost sight of the fact that the people she was bashing are guests” and should be treated with respect and courtesy.
And on the subject of breakfast: It was below or even for a free hotel breakfast. Coffee was cold. Food was cold. Milk, oddly enough, was not. Which might be why I was sick for most of the day afterward.
I will not be staying at this location again and will be sure to let friends and family to go the few extra miles to another facility.
