The reservation through Orbitz for a 2-room suite was not honored. Turned out the current occupant of our suite decided to stay for one month at the last moment so no space. We given compensation with two separate rooms- one king and one with two double beds. They tried as best they can to place them close together. The 2 double bed setup turned out to have a pungent smell (just finished recaulking the bathroom and finishing the popcorn ceiling). We complained and got another double that also smelled. So after one more transfer, finally got a room that was odor free. Do not bother with the gym- exercise bike is not functional. Neither is the treadmill next to it. Power on but error message every time you hit start. No central AC there in gym- just an old school wall unit. Also, no central AC in the rooms. Old hotel wall units. We slept in 77 degrees all night despite placing the thermostat at 64 degrees. They offered to change our room but we were tired of flipping rooms after the check-in debacle. Until some major renovations happen, stay somewhere else.

Staff unfriendly upon checking. Keyless checking was not working and front desk has a poor attitude until I inquired if she was “having a bad day.” I was very friendly up to that point, yet it was if I was a burden that she had to get up to assist me. - hallway carpets, as well as our room carpet, appeared to not have been cleaned in some time. - room was outdated; couch looked like it was from the 70’s - a/c worked, but air seemed musty - we asked for, and received, an early check out the next day and moved a mile down the road to Tru by Hilton Charlotte Airport, which was great - front desk was friendly, hotel was clean, modern, and 180 degrees better than the previous hotel

When we arrived, the man that was at the front desk acted as if we were bothering him by making him actually do work and stop texting. He did not welcome us at all, just asked our name and proceeded to check us in. He started to tell us about the breakfast times and then said he wasn't sure but he thought it was from 8-10 on the weekends. I was unsure why he didn't think to ask someone else to confirm or why he didn't already know these details and was working the front desk. The room was unimpressive. There was dark brown carpet that even though it's intention was to mask stains, still had visible red stains. The sheets and towels smelled musty and our shower curtain had a blue stain at the top. I did not get the feeling that cleanliness was a priority. I made sure to walk with shoes on the entire time. The worst part of the experience was there was a massive ceiling leak in the master bedroom that leaked all over the master bed all night which made the master bed unusable for a night. We all had to squeeze onto the sofa bed in order to not get leaked on. When the front desk was told about it, their response was that maintenance would be alerted. There was no apology nor discount offered. The best thing this property has is a good breakfast. I would not recommend this hotel nor will I visit again.

Property is so outdated and under my mattress was cereal. I walked in the room and immediately started itching. Had to move to another room. The furniture and carpet was filthy there was a bug in the shower. Never coming back to this property. I normally like Hilton properties very disappointed.

The rooms are not cleaned properly. There were dead bugs inside the room, the kitchen floors were sticky and the stove top was not cleaned properly. The garbage was not changed everyday although we left it out in the hallway. Housekeeping doesn’t change your sheets or towels if your not staying more than five days which is a unsanitary policy. The bed was very I comfortable and they only give you two small pillows that one person can sleep on. The pool wasn’t even open which is one of the main things we’re looking forward to for our children. I was also charged the full price of the room although I payed most of it online before my trip. This was the worst stay I’ve ever had!!

I got this for the suite and the pulled out sofa. I told the staff on check in that I was using the sofa. The person said that the bedding for it was being washed. We got back to the room and no sheets, pillows or covers for the sleep sofa. I called house keeping and was told to come down and get the bedding. This is totally unacceptable. The breakfast was horrible.

Carpets are filthy in the hallways, the interior hallways and interior rooms smell bad.I assume this is a smoke free hotel but it doesn’t smell like it. The sofa upholstery in the hotel room is dirty. The pull out sofa bed did not come with linens on it or stored in the room. Sign said call front desk but phone wasn’t allowing that call to go through. Had to make multiple attempts to get the linen. First they didn’t have any, then what they gave me was a sheet and a thin pilled blanket that should be disposed of. This hotel only provides housekeeping for guests staying 5 days or more, only does it tues/wed/thurs by appt only. We stayed Fri/sat/sun so we had to keep going back downstairs every day to get clean towels since they were not being changed out in our room by housekeeping. Mattresses are lumpy and uncomfortable especially sofa bed. Thin, old, lumpy mattress. Could feel the slings in my back.

Excellent service from shuttle drivers and front desk. Just an ok breakfast, no muffins or englsh muffffins which would have been nice to go with the scrambled eggs. No ketchup or hot sauce.

Aside of the smelly hallways from pot smokers and so many other critical things including safety , my door was opened for 3 days and they didn’t fix it. 3rd day I asked to be moved, Rebecca Smith hesitated at first she wouldn’t give a rats ass that just about anyone could walk into my room any given minute . The door wasn’t programmed properly to lock when I leave. They said they miss understood the issue even after they came upstairs to look at it. Than was told each day they’ll fix it the next day? All together the remaining of my experience was super sour. Front desk agent Dawn has zero cust svc skills, well if yelling at you and refusing to help than lying that in fact I was the one doing all the negative things I complained about her doing are required skills than all together this establishment is a dump. Called customer service 800 NR to sorta help sort things out yet they never listen to my concerns they called the front desk and labeled me again being the villain without once letting me state any of my concerns. Yes I recorded the call. Fast forward I’ve asked Dawn a few times to have the MGR give me a call whenever possible I also asked the cust svc rep over the phone to do the same and I was lied to . They all said the MGR doesn’t come it ‘till the next day. Yet at one point when I wakes downstairs to schedule a shuttle bus for the next day the MGR was sitting down at the front desk. I she managed to bash me ,not wanting to hear me out at all. The bus is MIAallday

My room was not that clean. There were chip crumbs left under the table area and old snack packs on the couch. I did enjoy my stay as the people working the front desk were very nice, willing to assist, and always happy. The price of the hotel was nice and location to all the places I needed to get to was nice.
