This hotel is a very practical choice. We picked it because we had an early flight the next day and we avoided traffic! I thought the facilities were well kept though I could tell it was an older building. The breakfast was pretty good. I was very satisfied with the hotel.

Room very dated, carpets filthy, very noisy.

Stayed one night for early morning flight and use shuttle to airport leaving our vehicle at the hotel for a fee. On return, I called the front desk to see where we were to catch the shuttle. Shareka told me told the location at the airport. We were told that the shuttle runs every half hour. Well after 40 minutes, we called the hotel back and asked where the shuttle was. That's when we were told that we have to request a pick up. One hour and 15 minutes later we were finally picked up. It's a 5 minute drive from the airport to the hotel. It took 40 minutes to get picked up once we were told that the shuttle was on the way.

I am very sorry this happened. I am unsure of the breakdown in our communication as we have steps in place to assure proper pick up times, including time you call and when you've been picked up. It appears she misunderstood that you needed a pickup as oppose to asking about our shuttle service. We will address this. Thanks again.

The staff were nice but the hotel lobby and elevator smell smokey....the toilet wasn't working in the room they gave me, I called for them to repair it however I had to wait a while and it still wasn't fixed so I had to call and request another room... The rooms were clean during my stay

Nice hotel for a quick overnight stay

Stayed here one night as our flight was changed to the next morning and the hotel offered a free airport shuttle. Hotel staff was friendly. However, room cleanliness was horrible. Room was quiet and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was basic but acceptable.

Nice hotel for overnight stay.

Very early flight out of Charlotte. Needed a non-expensive hotel room for one night with shuttle service to airport. This was definitely the place to stay. Will return again.

Convenient to airport

Cons: Do something are out the smell
Location: Near Crackel Barrel.
Room smelled, perhaps had been smoking . Carpet damp in spots

Won't return to this specific La Quinta

A little costly compared to the Comfort Inn Providence when we returned home. Not enough pillows ( we neglected to ask for more). Had to have concierge come to the room to see why it took forever to get hot water out of the faucet in the bathroom. A nasty stain on the carpet near the TV.

Close to airport and food for dinner

Excellent front desk staff; Julie changed my double bed room to a king w/o question. She was cordial and friendly: just the kind of staff that makes a hotel more hospitable and memorable. Proof is that I remember her name; she was so pleasant but not too chatty.

Quick stopover in Charlotte

Quick stopover flew in Thursday eve and overnighted here close to airport. Was very convenient with car rental mom sitecetc for a quick visit to see family in cgarlotte
