Baseball game

The room had a phone number written on the wall and the cleaning staff just over looks it. The number is very noticeable to my children upon entering the room. There was some type of red glue like glitter on one of the furniture items. The room carpet wasn't vacuum. This was my first and last time staying in a LA Quinta Inn.

Decent facilities for the money

Pros: Proximity to airport (under 2 miles). Front desk staff was helpful.
Cons: Fix plumbing and freshen the rooms so that they don't smell funny.
Location: Everything seemed to be about a 15 minute drive away (good eateries, malls). Midnight Diner for shrimp and grits were a highlight recommended.
Room had a strange unpleasant food odor when you first walk in but you don't notice it after awhile. Toilet leaked the whole time. Remote wasn't too responsive. Probably needed a battery change. Other than that, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was acceptable. Staff was friendly.

Decent older place with maintenance issues

On a high note, the staff was excellent, and "common" areas were great. Our room was definitely needing an update - there were maintenance issues with the bathroom and the beds were past their prime, to say the least. Shuttle service was great as well, even for our very early flight.

Airport hotel

The place is pretty tired. The beds and bedding included. Carpets in pretty tough shape.

Very clean

Pros: Clean
Location: Close to the airport, area around this hotel is so/so, would stay if needed to be close to the airport.
Business trip, was skeptical about booking here as typically stay with other brand hotels. Check in was easy (even being late at night)-hotel was very clean. Took apart the bed/sheets to ensure cleanliness and all was good. Bathroom and room were well maintained. Made arrangements to have early shuttle provide ride to airport, was on time and courteous driver.

Hotel staff was friendly but room was bad.

The staff was great, very helpful and courteous. The bathroom was pretty dirty, there was hair all over the floor, and I didn't want to take a shower for fear the shower didn't get cleaned very well. The air conditioner was broken and didn't cool the room at all. It would turn on every 20 minutes and sounded like it was broken while on, (waking us up every cycle that it came on) Ironically, we drove down to Charlotte to get a good nights rest before a flight out of state, but ended up not sleepy by at all.

No More La Quinta

Pros: Breakfast was a pleasant surprise.
Cons: Public areas need a thorough cleaning.
Location: Nothing nearby except more motels.
I've never been so disappointed in a hotel. The hallway smelled of mildew.

Pros: Second room was cleaner and everything worked
Location: Close to airport
We had to change rooms due to no tv service and the room smelled like cigarette smoke, even though the hotel was non-smoking

We apologize about the cigarette smell. We converted to non-smoking at the beginning of the year and some of our guests are still not accepting of our new smoke free environment. However, your room should have had working service and we have taken steps to correct this issue.

Pros: I don't like this Hotel I got charge one extra night because iI did not leave the room on time. On top of it my entrance Key got deactivated while in.
Cons: Maybe.
Location: ok
On arrival I ve waited more than one hour for a shuttle. it's very noisy. in the hallway and from the room behind my room.

Thank you for your review. You checked out at 4:50pm in the afternoon. Our check out time is 12:00 noon so there is a charge for such a late check out.
