Lake Escape is the perfect getaway to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You will not be disappointed with this 7-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom, 5,200 square foot home nestled on the banks of Lake Norman. The home accommodates up to 22 people, and features a home movie theater, game room, swimming pool, and private dock for swimming and water sports.

This stately, brick colonial-style home is nestled in the woods, on the banks of beautiful Lake Norman. The sprawling grounds and lush landscape give guests ample opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, and escape the stress of urban life without leaving behind any of the luxuries. Shady trees and rose bushes guide you up the drive toward plenty of open parking, a two-car garage, and a regulation size basketball hoop. The beautiful brickwork around the front doors welcomes you and hints at the beauty that awaits you at this Lake Norman luxury rental.
Step through the elegant brick arch that defines the entrance to your home away from home. You will find natural wood floors and a sparkling chandelier welcoming you inside. Vaulted ceilings in the entry draw you into the living room with full views of the lake right outside. Natural light flows in, creating an open and airy feel. This is the perfect space to unwind and connect with friends and family or to gather for after dinner drinks and share a laugh or two.
The open kitchen is fully equipped to handle any occasion, whether it's an elaborate holiday feast or simply feeding a growing family and keeping the kitchen stocked with all their favorite drinks and snacks – you have all the space you need. A Keurig and drip coffee maker are available for each guest to prepare their favorite cup of Joe! The kitchen table and counter also offer the perfect space for your everyday meals, quick snacks, and breakfasts. The adjacent dining room is great for sit-down family style dinners, but it is elegantly furnished, making it the perfect setting for even the fanciest occasions.
If you head downstairs, you will be thrilled to discover a game room so spacious it could practically be an additional home – complete with adjoining bedrooms and another full kitchen! The downstairs boasts a living room perfect for playing board games, puzzles, or cards, and even a full-sized shuffleboard and foosball table. The extra kitchen is great for whipping up snacks and can serve as the perfect bar for entertaining. One of the defining features of this home is the in-home theater just to the side of the game room. The luxury theater has a state of the art sound system, gaming console and plush leather recliners perfect for losing yourself in your favorite flick. Branching out from the game room are two additional bedrooms: one bunk room perfect for the kids with two bunk beds, and another cozy bedroom with a king bed and direct bathroom access.
Head upstairs to find a hidden loft sitting area with a TV, great for reading or getting some quiet time. Luxurious sleeping areas branch off down the hall, featuring large plush bedding and pillows for restful sleep, stylish furnishings that give you plenty of room to unpack, and bathrooms with beautifully updated fixtures. You will feel right at home and have the luxury you need to feel relaxed and pampered. The master bedroom is particularly stunning, with a comfortable king-sized bed and master bathroom featuring his-and-hers sinks and walk-in style shower with dual shower heads all designed around a magnificent garden tub.
Outside, you'll find a large patio that extends from the game room to the pool with plenty of extra seating and a bar just outside the back door. Upstairs, there is a full-length deck that connects to the kitchen and living room and is furnished with outdoor sofas as well as a dining area overlooking the pool and lake. One of the few Lake Norman rental properties with a pool, this home is sure to be a hit with the family. Additional outdoor games are provided, including corn hole and giant Connect Four. The pool area has a full sized outdoor kitchen with built-in BBQ, perfect for summer entertaining and keeping snacks and ice-cold drinks right in the middle of the fun. On a slightly more secluded side deck, you will find a built-in bonfire pit (wood provided) for when the sun goes down. Your family can stay warm and recap the day's fun over classic S'mores.
The whole property is on the water's edge, which, of course, is complete with its own private dock. The upper dock provides additional space for relaxing and entertaining. The lower one features access to swimming, and plenty of space to lie out and get some sun. You can bring your own boat(s), and/or jet skis. Conveniently located on the dock are all of the fun lake toys which include: a kayak, a paddle board, and an assortment of life jackets. Remember, Lake Norman has no restrictions, so it is perfect for extreme water sports like water skis and wakeboards! Your private dock is large enough to accommodate several watercraft, so you can take advantage of our multiple day rentals and keep your toys close at hand.

Air-conditioned accommodations at this vacation home offer private pools and DVD players. Rooms open to balconies or patios. Kitchens offer refrigerators, stovetops, microwaves, and separate dining areas.

Bathrooms include shower/tub combinations and hair dryers. Additionally, rooms include coffee/tea makers and irons/ironing boards. Housekeeping is provided on a limited basis.

Recreational amenities at the vacation home include a water park.
