Convenience

Pros: Location was what made the select it. However, the whole place was well maintained. I would select it again in the future.

Location: I'm a business traveler - things to do nearby are not important to me.
Very convenient to the airport. Clean, comfortable room. Plenty of supplies in the bathroom, AC worked, TV worked. All in all, an excellent experience. The lady who checked me in was very friendly.

The transportation that pics you up at the airport will keep you waiting for over 2 hours to even come get you. Horrible service.

Dirty, smelly

Our first room had mold on the ceiling and wet carpet under a/c. The second room had carpet ripped up and smelled musky. The hallways smelled of cat or dog urine. Employees weren't rude but not exactly welcoming either. Very disappointed for Microtel, usually excellent hotels.

If you don't like smoke, don't stay here!

Pros: Was in a quite area, near the airport, near food. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: Stop the cigarette smoking from coming into the "Non-Smoking" rooms! Add a Fitness Center. Provide more options for breakfast.
Location: Quite area. Near the Airport. Food nearby. Easy access to most anywhere in Charlotte.
I am a frequent business traveler and took my wife with me on this trip. The first room we checked into, the AC unit did not work. The staff was helpful and moved us to another room. Around 2:00am we woke up coughing as cigarette smoke filled our "non-smoking" room. I went to the front desk and the clerk casually stated that the people above us must be smoking. He did move us rooms, but that is not something you want to do in the middle of the night. We encountered the same problem the next 2 nights but they did not have any "non-smoking" rooms to offer. We ended up leaving the bathroom exhaust fan on all night and even opening our hotel door at 4am to air out our room. Not what you want when you book a "Non-Smoking" room! The rate was cheap and the staff was friendly and helpful; however, the smoke filled room, the very limited breakfast and no fitness center made this a hotel I will not stay at again.

Never again!

Pros: Shuttle bus was on time.
Cons: everything
Location: 8 minutes from airport
Air conditioner sucks. The fan ran all night but no cold air. A terrible night sleep. Only booked this hotel because of the Wyndham name associated with it.

You get what you pay for

Pros: Shuttle service and location
Cons: The interior needs to be completely renovated
Location: airport, freeways, gas stations, and fast food outlets
This used to be a decent, inexpensive place, close to the airport. The shuttle service was--including this visit--convenient. It is now terribly run down, with dirty carpets throughout, bedding with holes and stains, and very worn and battered furniture. The worst part was that the room smelled like a chain smokers' convention was currently underway.

Nastiest hotel I've ever seen

Hotel was filthy. Holes in walls in hallway. Room dirty smelled horrible.staff was useless. I wouldn't make my dog sleep in this place..DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DUMP
