Missed a flight. only available hotel.

Posted Jul 27, 2016
At least it had a bed. No cups, no hairdryer, no shampoo. At least I got a toothbrush at the desk. Not a very nice place at all. On the positive, there was a free airport shuttle.

Dirty and sketchy location

Posted Jul 22, 2016
The room was filthy with dead bugs in the bathroom. The bathroom floor looked as though it was never cleaned. The bedding was clean. The location was poorly lit and remote. I would never recommend this hotel. We had no choice as a flight mis connected and all other hotels were full so American Airlines sent all of us from our flight here.

Don't waste your money here.

Pros: proximity to our destination was the only positive about this hotel.
Cons: Too many things to list in this small of space.
Location: We were at orientation at Johnson & Wales. That was all we did near by.
The hotel didn't have our reservation we booked on Expedia. They gave us the wrong room. The sheets were clean, that was the only positive. There were no extra towels available. The toilet paper was on the conuter, no spindle.

First room everything was broken

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, hit and miss on the room quality and nice TV channel line up. Good prices. Full kitchen and good shower pressure
Cons: More quality control with the rooms, never know what you are going to get. Shorter check in and check out times. Both took in excess of 20 minutes.
Location: Close to downtown, airport and next to a Wendy's and mcdonalds.
I stayed there for 6 nights. The room they gave me on the first night was ghetto central. Everything broken and dirty. The staff said if I stayed in that room the first night they would get me a better room. They gave me a "managers room" the next day. It was actually a very nice room but there was no remote for the TV. Also the stove didn't work so I had to eat using only the microwave. There were cops at the hotel on 3 different occasions and the fire dept. twice. There were plenty of TV channels which was nice. When I checked out, there was an additional $49 charge on my receipt. After 20 minutes I got a refund on my CC. This hotel is hit and miss. Some rooms are fairly nice and others were just terrible. The location is good. The staff was nice and tried to be helpful and I did appreciate that. I get per diem so I try to stay cheap and pocket the rest. If you are a single male looking for a cheap room I would stay but not with my wife. Mostly people there were down on their luck.

Pros: The Locatrion
Cons: Carpet could be vacuumed
Location: Was hjust staying overnight to catch early plane
Carpet needed to be vacuumed really bad. The night watchman and a buddy parked two chairs right outside my room at 11:30pm and started to chat really loudly and woke me up

Pros: The front desk clerk, Kim.
Cons: Everything, use bleach when washing linens.....have an iron to go with the ironing board. Coffee Pot?, would be nice if there was coffee to put in it.
Location: South Tryon........depends on what you want, Wendys and McDonalds next door...
I was very disappointed. Only 2 towels, coffee pot with NO coffee, sugar, cups or spoons.....no soap samples, just one bar of Irish Spring!! no shampoo. Ironing board with no iron. Towels not washed in bleach, stained......pillows very lumpy and cases looked dull and dingy. And the atmosphere around the area was not very consoling. The help especially Kim, was very nice, The first room I was given the bathroom was flooded with water. No, I will never stay there again and was very disappointed at the ad online versus what I experienced. I asked for new towels and did not get them until later that night. i know the price was good but if I knew I could cancel when I experienced what I did, I would have left. I have been out of work and had to go to Charlotte to visit my doctor and I thought the distance and price fit my budget. NOT!!!! I had to buy my coffee and condiments, shampoo and such. Not again!!!! No continental breakfast. The 15.00 I saved by cancelling my last hotel was not worth it at all. The money I saved was spent at this hotel for food and toiletries. I would NOT recommend this hotel at all.
