Very simple hotel people who rented on my side will spend the whole night I will sit outside the apt talking the doorman is not very communicative I had to leave a deposit of one hundred dollars I won't be back
Place is a dump that requires $100 Deposit in Cash or Credit Card. WHY. They attempt to collect more funds for items like eaving room dirty, staining towels just anything that would forfiet the deposit. No hot water in the morning, No breakfast or coffee. :Lobby was locked at 7:30am
Everything needs to be updated. Carpet , furniture, paint, electrical, and plumbing fixtures. . Lights were flickering. hair in toilet. Exhaust fan in bathroom did not work. Towels discolored. Drain was missing stopper.
This was place was scarey and i feared for my safety to the point i left before even getting in a room. There were many people hanging out in the lobby that were not hotal patrons or staff. I got my key even though i felt that something was off. When i got to my room the key didnt work. Fine. When i started back to the desk 2 of the creeps hanging out had followed me to my hallway but were keeping there distance like they were watching me from different ends of the hallway. I went back to the desk and the guy at the desk made up an excuse about why the key didnt work. I got another key, but he sent me to a different room, which i thought was weird but whatever. I got to my sencond room. Same story. Key didnt work 2 men that were not staff followed me watching. I quickly turned and almost ran back to the desk. The guy behind the desk was not there. One of the men that followed me went in the back to get him. They spoke in another language and it seemed like they were talking about me. It was clear that the man that followed me didnt work there. The man behind the desk offered my another key to a 3rd room. I said no i dont feel safe here. Another guy who was also not an employee tried to talk me into staying. I said no and grabbed my things and ran to my car. What did he care? Why were all these random man there hanging out watching my every move? In hind sight i think that had i stayed the guy behind the counter was going to allow them in my room to rape or kidnap me.
I wish I'd had the presence of mind to take pictures but I was in such a hurry to leave I didn't think of it. The room stank. That was the worst. It smelled of years old urine, I believe coming from the ancient carpet. No hot water! I requested an ADA toilet and was put in a room with all kinds of silliness that was supposed to make it ADA-eligible. The contraption they put around the toilet was dangerous for anyone without some mobility and upper body strength. The hotel is old and run down. Think 'welfare motel'. Lots of hand-written signs in the vestibule warning people about all manner of things. Just a nasty, tacky place. There was a recliner in the room so I slept in that rather than risk bed bugs. The whole place just felt dirty because of that smell. I couldn't wait to get away from that odor. I was only there for one night and that's a good thing because I surely would have left after that first night.
I payed online after midnight on new years. Arrived at the hotel and noone came to the window, it was a sign saying they close from 12am-7am due to staff shortagr however it doesnt say that online. Now im fighting for a refund.
