Lake Enclave 👍
We had a large party of relatives and friends to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday on Feb. 28th. The weather was a bit cantankerous, as expected for late Feb., but nothing could dampen our pleasure from the million dollar view. It is spectacular! The house itself is quirky and a bit dark, an older home that has been retrofitted. We are hardcore tempurpedic people but managed 3 reasonably good nights’ sleep. The futon is not a good for sleeping, and the full bed is good for children. One of the bathrooms is a bit inconvenient as it is down a flight of tiled steps—don’t put grandma there! The home is very well equipped with spices, oil, coffee and lots of paper products as well as toasters, microwaves and even a kitchen aid mixer. We cooked our main meals in and were able to seat 14 by moving a drop leaf table from the living room to the main dining area. The lot for the house is lovely. Besides the amazing lake views, it has a slate path all around that was very nice for dog walking. In terms of suggested improvements, a fire pit would be nice on the beach area. The futon could be replaced as well. Thank you Jim and Hilda for sharing your lovely lake home!
