Never staying here again

I booked a room for my grandparents who were visiting Charlotte for the first time. We tried to check in at 3:15pm and were told that their room wasn't ready. They couldn't give us an estimate as to when it would be ready, but they would call us. I called the hotel around 8:30pm to get an update, but the room still wasn't ready and they weren't sure when it would be available. Finally, a little after 9pm, I got a call that the room was ready. This was completely unacceptable and makes me question how they handle the busy football season. The check-in staff that I interacted with were nice (they obviously weren't at fault), but I won't take my chances with this hotel again.

Nice hotel, close to downtown

Nice experience, a bit noises due to construction on the floor above me, but overall a good time. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Good customer service can't hide rundown facility

We stayed on a Friday night. Although the food in the restaurant was very good as was the overall customer service, the state of the facility is not what I expected from the Sheraton. There was a picture missing from a collage, a full length mirror propped against the wall instead of hanging on it, the wall paper was frayed, and the bathroom had a musty smell which turned out to be coming from the shower curtain.
