Bad customer service

Wrote to both the manager of the hotel and customer service, and have not received a response....
I am writing to ask for consideration regarding a reservation made for the evening of March 15, 2017 at the Sleep Inn Charlotte Airport at 701 Yorkmont Road in Charlotte, North Carolina.
I believe the reservation number is 75928241, and was made with credit card ending xxxx.
This reservation was made through Expedia while my wife and I were out of the country, and was made in anticipation of our flight from Charlotte being cancelled due to snow in the Northeast.
As it turned out, the flight was not cancelled, and as soon as I knew the flight was not cancelled, I called the hotel at 6:18 pm on March 15, 2017 to cancel the reservation. I spoke with Will, and explained the situation and asked if it were possible to cancel our reservation.
Will explained to me that my credit card had been already charged, and that he was not able to reverse the charge, and suggested that I contact the manager of the hotel. I have been able to reach the manager who I was told is Ms. Savi.
While I do understand the hotel's cancellation policy, I am asking for an exception since I did call as soon as I knew the flight had not been cancelled and it was barely after the cancellation deadline.
I would really appreciate it if this charge to my credit card in the amount of $102.58 could be reversed.

Dear guest , Sorry to hear about the flight issues. Please contact Expedia billing department for the refund. Since the booking came directly from Expedia , we can't do much on our side but would gladly work with Expedia Billing department to satisfy your needs. Thanks for considering us.
