This is a hotel in an old building so you hear the floorboards creaking. In a great area of the city!!! Close to everything!

Highly recommendPosted Nov 7, 2015 on Hotels
This hotel has been kept clean and nicely. I stayed here for two nights. The location is right next to Kurfurstendamm which is a big plus for shopping and accessing U-bahn and bus.The hotel staffs work hard and efficiently.

Clean, cozy, and cheap but not suitable for all!Posted Jul 7, 2015 on Hotels
It is a clean place in very nice neighborhood in heart of Berlin. It is located in an area that you can enjoy your short stay in Berlin without wasting your time or money travelling from one side of city to the other. The city tour buses are just 100m far from this place, take one and enjoy the historical sites. Lots of shops and galleries around. Bars and restaurants are perfect. Concerning the hotel itself, that's a very clean and safe place with low price. However, for the one with disabilities, babies, or aged people I do not recommend the place. There is no elevator, that is an old building with no AC system which is a problem for summertime (heating is fine)!

A good place to stay!Posted May 15, 2015 on Hotels
This hotel is old, but it has charm, clean and the staff running the hotel are all very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is simple, but there are lots of restaurants to choose from along the main street. It is very close to public transportation and within close walking distance to the Zoo station, the Hop on Hop Off tour and the Keiser Church. There are great shops all along the main street. The only downside is that it has no elevator and you need to climb steps to get to your room. However, all hotels on Fasanenhaus Street are just like the same. Also, there is no air-conditioning, but open the window and you would be all set. I would stay again in this hotel when I get the chance to go back to Berlin. Nice city and nice people!
