A stylish hotel in a fashionable area of Berlin
We chose the hotel mainly because of location. We like the Savignyplatz area very much and the closeness of the S-Bahn was also a plus. The reception was friendly and pleasantly informal. We liked the arty look of the lobby and (with some reservations) our room. By reservations, I mean the relatively cluttered look of the room, especially as it was quite a small room. There was no place to put our large suitcase except the floor and the only surface to use a laptop was a high desk at which it was necessary to stand. But the bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. Housekeeping was good and the staff in the reception room were all very friendly. The breakfasts were a little hit-or-miss, partly because a young trainee was slow and making mistakes and you could hear him being bawled out by his superior. That was a pity, but dodnlt spoil our experience.

This is a perfect gem of Americana - think Ernest Hemingway on vacation - with fantastic staff and a great burger joint in the lobby. Fantastic visual details. and an amazingly convenient location right off the S-bahn - you even pass through a perfect platz with bars, restaurants and coffee right on your 1 block walk!

Zimmer sehr schön, aber nichts dort essen.
Nette freundliche junge Leute im Hotel, an der Reception bemüht, da alleine dauert alles entsprechend lange. Es gibt ein Burger Restaurant. Als wir nach 14:30 etwas bestellten, kam der junge Mann nach 40 Minuten mit einer Papiertüte über den Hof geturnt und servierte das, woher immer er es hergeholt hatte. Hatte vorher noch gefragt ob man Pommes frites wollte ,das hatte er da aber vergessen ! Und bat darum, englisch mit ihm zu sprechen. Frühstück wurden Rüherei serviert. Der Knabe kannte den Begriff nicht. Das Hotelzimmer war sehr sauber und die Betten phantastisch. Würde wieder hinfahren, aber nichts dort zu essen bestellen.

Great location and lovely stylized rooms. Nice boutique hotel with helpful staff. Downside was housekeeping, not up to snuff. Overall I Recommend as a great alternative to boring standard chains hotels!

I loved the decor—really unique and comfortable—and the location is perfect: 10 min or so from the main train station, plenty of very good restaurants and bakeries in the neighborhood.

Located in a very nice neighborhood, this small stylish hotel, has very comfortable beds and is very clean. The rooms are nicely decorated, but smallish. All together, I enjoyed my stay a lot.

Poor service
When we arrived at the hotel late in the evening, the hotel was closed without being informed beforehand. At the entrance there was a sign with a phone number to call another hotel that could take over our reservation. The other hotel was okay but not worth the price of this hotel. We had no other choice than to take it at this time of day. The staff did not apologize for the inconvenience caused. We understand changes due to Covid. However, not being informed at all and being forced to take a hotel we would have not chosen is just poor service.

I always enjoy the Savigny in Berlin a boutique hotel without pretensions and good attention to guests. Tiny slip ups do occur in keeping the high standard near to a 9 out of 10...but they are always a favourite stop.

Excellent stay in Charlottenburg
Great location in Charlottenburg neighborhood. Cool reception area including a Butcher burger joint. Friednly staff and cool facilities in the room. Many shopping and restaurant options within walking distance. Expedia/Hotels.com members get free welcome drinks and cocktail vouchers, plus free soft drinks from the minibar. Highly recommended!

Great stay, unique hotel
Beautiful boutique hotel with an extremely friendly reception team. Nice bar and restaurant too, only downside was our corridor was noisy and you could hear everything from our room.

Cozy comfortable room, good for solo travellers
Beautiful boutique hotel. Loved the steampunk decor. Staff very friendly, room nice and bed was so comfortable! Room service food was great and well priced. Only thing is the room is a bit small, it was fine for me as a solo traveller with one suitcase but if you are travelling with lots of luggage might need to get a bigger room. The bathroom set up is also a bit odd as it’s just a door straight into the shower next to the bed so I found it difficult to not get water everywhere, but not that big of a deal. Would recommend!

Place like home with 5 star interiors
Love everything about this hotel including the decor and location. I received a welcome drink upon arrive and 1 or 2 rooms with a balcony. The accommodations and mini bar was very convenient, including the complimentary tea, hygienic and miscellaneous items as well. Transit is located just around the corner and plenty restaurants and bars are next door. The food at the restaurant below is terrific too. I would venture to other countries just to stay in their other hotels.

Fantastic and quirky boutique hotel
Fantastic stay at this lovely boutique hotel in a great part of the city. Great transport links despite a rather confusing U Bahn and S Bahn system. Our hotel welcome was excellent. Friendly. Helpful. Loved it. We will be back.
