Just stayed one night many places to eat nearby. Very hard drive to Washington from here in the AM.

The woman who checked us in was not very nice nor was she helpful when asking her a question.

Bring ear plugs

Hotel backs up on highway and very noisy. Rooms on front side of hotel are better.

Conveniently located near Univ. of Virginia; Lot of nice eateries close by; It was reasonably priced for what I was looking for. Included Breakfast was decent; Staff was prompt and helpful and not a whole lot of waiting to check in; Will stay again if I have to;

Not our problem

I booked with Expedia for a room with two beds because I was traveling to a concert with a person I knew but was not related and we were not a couple. Registered, went to the room; one bed. Was told that the hotel was booked and there was nothing that the Fairfield could do about it. “Your problem is that you booked with Expedia. We don’t actually care what they tell you. We don’t have to honor that.” So the 40 year old slept on the floor with some blankets the clerk gave us as she also informed me that the hotel would not give me a discount for the error because I got my discount from Expedia. But I didn’t request a discount, so now that made me feel like I was trying to get something for nothing. All I really wanted to do at 11:00 pm was start the long drive home. Certainly lost my Jimmy Buffet high.

We had a nice stay. The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable and spacious. We would stay again and refer to friends and family. Nice, Nice, Nice, Nice, Nicec

Dirty sheets, internet malfunction

Disappointed. I needed my sheets and towels changed due to pieces of hair on them. Ants were present. Internet did not work.

One night stay...

Only needed a room for one night. Check in was at 3 pm but I arrived at 1:30 and was allowed to check in. It was very much appreciated after having made a long trip and just wanted some rest before supper... everything was nice! Staff was super friendly! Location is perfect! It’s close to plenty of shopping and restaurants. I’d definitely recommend!

Just what we needed

Came to town for a concert and needed a hotel that was convenient. The Fairfield Inn was great. Missy at the front desk was super and the staff at breakfast was accommodating. The room was clean, our hall was quiet, and the bed super comfortable. Added bonus that Applebee's is next door for late night food and they take 15% off. Will come back again.

Nice hotel close to university and jpj arena.

Stay was nice. Hotel is comfortable and clean. Big appeal was proximity to UVA and JPJ arena. Very convenient. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Convenient that food lion is a walkable distance if need anything.
