Like living in a shoe box

Pros: Some of the staff went well beyond trying to make me comfortable
Cons: Room size which I doubt is going to happen
Location: Great
Rooms are way to small to be comfortable. No Chair other than desk chair, no dresser for clothes, closet is hooks behind a curtain on the wall.

Pros: Clean and a very nice staff.
Location: Lots of dining and shopping options near the hotel.
We noticed a strange smell in the room, I think it was from the air conditioner. We were tired so we waited to tell the staff until next mourning. They moved our luggage, put us in a different room and did not charge us for the previous night. They even left a gift basket in our new room. All that was above and beyond what I expected. They were very nice.

Lovely area

We attended a family wedding at a local vineyard. The hotel was perfectly located. The neighborhood was excellent. Everything we wanted to see was in easy driving distance. Monticello and UVA were easy distances. The local restaurants and shopping were outstanding. The hotel rooms were on the small side and closet space was weirdly configured with a draped curtain over part of the wall. The room however was clean. And sleeping was comfortable so I would stay here again.

NYC-sized room in Charlottesville

This Hampton Inn room was by far the smallest hotel I have stayed in for a long time. My family of 4 stayed here, and we actually had to take turns walking across the room.the room was nice, and newly renovated, but the tight fit took te fun out of it. E location was fine and just a few minutes from UVA.
