The desk employees and housekeepers were super sweet and welcoming, the room was as clean as expected (10/10), the ac unit worked great so this will definitely be the place I book when coming to Charlottesville again!! Thanks so much :)

Easy to park and check in however with check in staff were unsure about pet fees and never really checked us into the hotel until we were back from the event that brought us to the area, a second staff member stopped us and readdressed the fact that we had pets and if we were aware that additional fees would apply and asked for a credit card to be put on file. Overall, a messy check in process.

Weird dynamics with house keeping. House keeping did not clean after our first night. Early evening when we asked the front desk, they (completely unfazed) indicated that house keeping was winding down and that should have gotten done earlier(it did not). On our third day, they did a lackluster job with one of the beds and did not make our other queen bed.

We enjoyed the hotel and breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. We were hesitant at first about it being pet friendly, but just booked a higher level floor. No trace of pets there.

Comfortable and clean rooms. The third floor smelled similar to a nursing home when I got off elevators. Not sure what that was about. Had trainees checking in which proved slow and unsure of which keys to push on their computer.

Definitely stay again
We were here to see the Reba concert, as was 1/2 of VA., NC & WV. It seemed liked everyone arrived at check in and the line was extremely long. The clerks who assisted us were calm and efficient, management passed out free water and all the rooms were ready for us. The rooms were clean, and beds comfortable after a long night of singing. I’d definitely stay here again.

The stay was a night getaway for my wife and I. I had purchased show tickets, where the show was at John Paul Jones Arena. I am a member of IHG and also hotels.com and the Holiday Inn was great. Room was spacious as well as the bathroom. My wife really like the shower there.

Friendy and helpful staff. The bartender was a hoot and made our evening enjoyable, even though they didn't have much food to order that evening. Breakfast was good, I liked a to order breakfast rather than a buffet. We were in the middle of a hurricane though, which is why we stayed in.

It was not the best once checked into our room we quickly realized that it had not been cleaned, both trash cans were full there was a wet rag in the shower from the previous tenet and one of the beds was not made. I didnt mind i figured theyre understaffed and just running a little behind so i told the front desk expecting that when i got back around midnight i would find a clean and ready room but to my surprise nothing got done.
