Had a nice one night stay. Staff was friendly, we were able to check in early. Room was nicely decorated, bed comfortable. Needed extra towels...delivered within 10 minutes. Was allowed to keep my car parked at the hotel for a few hours after we checked out so we only had to take one car to the medical center.

Friendly staff, convenient location

This was our second time this month at the Charlottesville La Quinta. Both experiences were great. The staff is very friendly and our room was ready with very little issue. Our only complaint was that our room this time smelled a little musty. Otherwise, everything was very clean.

I recieve a room with mess-up door, attendant refuse to get another room, only if I paid extra for other room.

The hotel is very nice. Unfortunately the room I was given (room 107) was very hot and muggy. We could not stay in the room long because of how hot it was so left to go do things throughout charlottesville to limit our time in the room. Other than that, the room was nice.

Very solid gateway to Charlottesville

Hotel staff were great, beds excellent, breakfast fine. Pillows could have been firmer and occasionally one had to wait for the elevator. But overall, a very solid experience and a gateway to the lovely Charlottesville area.

Clean, comfortable, friendly

Staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable (esp. the bed), the pool was very nice, and loved all the amenities and extra touches (e.g. iced water with fruit, breakfast, popcorn, coffee, etc.).

Horrible

The staff of this hotel did a horrible job. I wasn't given the room I paid for nor was a manager EVER available to address problems. The phone in the room did not work. Nothing was done to remedy this after it was reported to hotel staff.

typical La Quinta - no surprises

This La Quinta was typical of the La Quinta chain. Perhaps a bit more run down than others but no big deal. If you just want a place to sleep and a hearty breakfast, you won't be disappointed.

Terrible rooms requiring multiple room switches!

We were moved 3x in less than 24 hours. The first room had no working TV. The second room's air conditioner leaked so bad, it soaked the floor through as well as some of our belongings. The third room had no microwave or working iron (the previous 2 rooms had both). I hate to sound like Goldilocks, but... We were in town for a wedding over a long weekend and had small children with us. It was very difficult to be moved that many times in such a short span with everything we had. There was no offer to refund a portion of our considerable money spent for the accommodations or to offer a complimentary nights on our next stay.
