What a wonderful experience! We stayed on the 6th floor and had wonderful views. The room was really clean, and the temperature walking in was perfect. The room had a large couch, Flat screen TV with all the ports, a microwave and small refrigerator.
This was our 3rd stay at 200 South Street. The staff is always excellent. The evening wine and cheese is a great way to wind down your day, and the location is close to the downtown walking mall. We will be back again!

The more affordable hotels in Charlottesville tend to be dirty and uncomfortable, but not the Cavalier Inn. It's clean, up-to-date and offers a decent breakfast for its guests. It's also very accessible from the highway, and is close to the University.
