The staff were amazing. From the moment we checked in to breakfast the next morning all the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. A very pleasant place to stay.

Nice staff and great breakfast

Staff is really nice and friendly. Food for breakfast is great, both in variety and quality.

The hotel has a convenient location in quite area nearby HWY 401 and a lot of eating options around.

On Arrival the room was freezing cold. it took over an hour to heat it

It was nice, when I walked in, the manager had just made cookies and offer me one, she was kind, friendly, it made the stay excellent.

Disappointing

If you are travelling with elderly or young kids this is not the place for you. For starters there are no elevators anywhere, I traveled with my 85 year old father in law who has difficulty walking and they placed us in the 2nd floor, I tried to switch the rooms to the main level with no luck. Once we arrived at our rooms, the mattress in the pull out couch was in terrible state, you can feel the springs right through, my 12 year old did not have a decent night sleep, and he was aching the next day. There was a hockey tournament in the city and there where a group of young kids (players) running and screaming in the halls all hours of the night. I called the front desk at midnight, because the noise level was extreme, but that did not help as the noise continue until well pass 3 am. The next morning as i was checking out, I was so disappointing with the response I got from the front desk when I told them that I was disappointed with the stay. They said they received many complaints, but that was it. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

Room changes weren't possible because of availability so we can understand your frustration. It is your option to book through the Third Party sites like you did. We do suggest carefully reading the room descriptors & even calling the hotel once you've reserved. Situations like our no-elevator will be known before your arrival. And we are sorry for the noise of the children. We find it very difficult as well. I will have our Maintenance check into the condition of the pullout. Again, please accept our apologies, Jennifer. Enjoyed a comfortable home away from home stay over Christmas Day. All of the personal were really polite and helpful to assist with maps and directions for travelling in Chatham.
