Nice hotel with a lot of things to do near by.

Great location, the hotel staff were very friendly and provided great service. The breakfast provided had many options from cold cereal to bacon and french toast. I would stay there again.

Very friendly, professional staff. Accommodated my need for conveniently located room (due to limited mobility) without hesitation. My new go to lodging in Chattanooga

Great hotel in a great location

Pros: The staff were friendly and fun.
Cons: It could use some remodeling updates as far as carpet and couches but they were clean.
Location: near the mall, good restaurants and close to the Tennessee valley railroad
The staff were so friendly and nice! The breakfast was delicious and hot. They had cookies and popcorn out for snacking. Plenty of room for kids to play and the rooms were spacious and clean.

The hotel is about to undergo an extensive renovation which will see all of the flooring and furnishings replaced. In the interim, we have both carpet and upholstery cleaning machines and are constantly cleaning to maintain our hotel in a presentable state to our guests. Great place to stay

The lobby and entrance were very nice and welcoming. The staff was great, Isah was very friendly and helpful when asking for recommendations of restaurants. The room was so clean and fresh smelling. The housekeeping made sure that all my bedding was feather free and I so appreciate that otherwise my allergies would have been out if control. The cook on Tuesday morning was also so friendly a day nice and the food was awesome! I will definitely stay here and recommend this toyear friends and family

Nice, but

The hotel was very nice, but there was a small spider on my pillow and a used wash cloth hanging on the shower rings. The bed was comfortable, but be sure to fully check the bedding before going to sleep.

Thank you for your recent stay and I sincerely apologize for the inconveniences that you experienced during your stay. I have discussed this matter with our pest control vendor and that have assured me that it will not happen again. As for the used wash cloth, there is no excuse for the housekeeper either having left it (her cleaning rag) or overlooked it (guest wash cloth). I will be addressing this incident with my Executive Housekeeper tomorrow. Thanks again for staying with us and I would encourage you to request to speak with the manager on duty if you ever encounter a problem. We work hard to ensure that our guests have an enjoyable visit so, if there is a problem, we want to know so that it can be resolved.

Nice hotel,but poor customer service

Called ahead with questions the person who answered extremely rude. Get to the hotel and express I want to pay cash for the room,and was instructed I could paid cash at check out. Tried to check out and was informed that the housekeeper told the staff we checked out already. When asked can I pay cash,I was informed that the clerk didn't know how to remove the charge from my card. And the manager was on a hour long call. I found this to be very unacceptable. The only upside was that the room was great for the price and clean. Customer service awful staff needs to be trained on policy and procedures.

I wanted to thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. It seems as though you basically enjoyed your stay at the hotel with respect to the room and the various amenities but basically had an issue over the form of payment. I sincerely apologize for your experience as I was indeed on a lengthy call last week. I spoke to the clerk involved and spoke to her about your concerns. My staff is constantly instructed to come get me no matter what whenever a guest would like to speak with me. I try my absolute best to be a very visible manager and to assist my guests whenever possible. Policies and procedures are often the result of past issues. Many hotels and car rental agencies require a credit card so that they can preauthorize the card for the amount of the stay and a little extra for incidentals. This is because some cash paying customers have rented rooms and cars only to leave them damaged and with little to no recourse. I hope that you can understand the reasoning. It is surprisingly simple for the clerk to change your form of payment from credit card to cash upon checkout. I have worked with her on this to make sure that no future guest is inconvenienced due to switching the form of payment upon departure. I again apologize that my clerk did not interrupt my call because the satisfaction of my guests is very important to me. Hopefully, your experience with my desk staff will be greatly improved during your next visit to our hotel. Thanks again for staying and for your feedback. Obviously, I like it when it is good, but also appreciate it if we have dropped the ball so we can make necessary corrections.

Hotel is very dated

I was desperate for a room which is the only reason I stayed here. Everything was completely full on the weekend that I needed a room. The halls smell like a nursing home and the rooms were very dated and dark. I didn't let my kids walk barefoot in the room. It is Definitely not a Hilton!!!!! Feels like a motel.

Thank you very much for your recent stay and for sharing your thoughts. I am sorry that our hotel did not meet your expectations. Like virtually all other hotels in the Chattanooga area, we experienced 100% occupancy this past weekend. I am sorry that you felt that the hallways smelled like a nursing home. You may have noticed that we have several air freshener dispensers located along the hallways. These dispense a rotating fragrance (currently orange) to mask any odors such as those associated with the use of the microwave ovens in the room, the drifting smell of fresh baked cookies and the making of popcorn in the lobby, etc. On the first floor, you might get the industrial smell of floor cleaner when our maintenance staff mops the lobby and bathrooms throughout the day. We have carpet and upholstery cleaning machines and have been cleaning all carpets and furniture as part of a deep clean process for each room. The hotel recently changed hands and the new owners are about to embark on an extensive renovation program that will result in literally everything being replaced in the room. I understand that the carpet will be replaced with a more modern alternative that can be cleaned after each stay. I would respectfully request that you consider staying with us the next time that you are in Chattanooga. Already we have implemented a deep cleaning program that has resulted in every inch of every room being thoroughly cleaned. In addition, we have a fantastic complimentary breakfast that includes the standard cereals, breads, fruits, waffles and yogurts along with a variety of hot items such as eggs, breakfast meats (rotating variety of bacon, ham, Canadian bacon, and sausages), oatmeal, and biscuits. We also boast extremely high health scores of 100 / 100 for the heated indoor pool, 96 / 100 for the hotel itself, and 99/100 for breakfast.

Check in staff GREAT! Downhill after that

Location: Location was great. You had any and all types of food and drink around the hotel.
We checked and was greeted wonderfully. The lobby staff have smiles on their faces and are more than willing to help. Very quick and easy check in (so we thought).Janelle, was AMAZING! she needs to be the property manager. She goes above and beyond her position. We entered our room to find stains on the carpet, black mold in the shower, wall paper pealing from around the shower pipe coming out of the wall. The room has lots of space. Stains on the couch which pulls out into a bed. The mattress was so thin no one could sleep on it. Corners of room had a inch of dust, looks like the vacuum was never run in the room(we had 9 rooms) same in all. Air ducts and vents need to be cleaned properly(disgusting). I will never stay here again. The price we had to pay, I don't even pay when we stay at Disney Properties. Hilton doesn't charge these kinds of prices and they are WAY higher level then this.
