Stop over during long trip

Beds are a little worn and need to be replaced. Other than that, it was great.

Hotel staff very friendly.But beds had plastic under sheets (have never incountered that before)which made bed uncomfortable and in our room there was a strong musty smell possibly from carpet cleaner powder

The hotel is pretty new and clean. The only complaint is the mattresses were to soft. You could feel the springs poking at your back. The young man at the desk was very helpful and friendly.

Clean and quiet.

Pros: Modern. Clean. Comfortable
Cons: Add gravy to breakfast as told to me by my teen age daughter
Location: Close to places to eat and shop and the softball park we were playing at
Would stay again. Nice family hotel. Clean and comfortable

Great location and overall good value.

Chose this hotel as a mid-way stopping point for me and my kids on the way to our Panama City Beach vacation. It was just off the highway with plenty of gas stations, restaurants and stores nearby. I have never gone wrong with a Holiday Inn Express before and the rate at this particular location was better than usual. The desk service was excellent, the breakfast was the usual fair but very good and very adequate. The hotel was in great condition and the beds were very comfortable. In short it was almost everything I have come to expect of this chain. Unfortunately this is the one time I have come away a little disappointed. I had a hard time getting past the musty/moldy smell in the room. Didn't mention it to the front desk until checkout because frankly I didn't want to hassle with the process of changing rooms. Given the fact I had never previously had a bad room with this chain I assume this was an aberration and I would probably take a chance on this hotel again.
