Hotel cleanliness is poor

Pros: The staff were friendly and tried to help us as much as they could.
Cons: Room cleanliness.
Location: Overnight stay. We didn`t do any sight seeing.
The rooms smelled of animals. Our first room smelled of cat urine. Changed to a room that had a strong doggie smell. The third room had a slight doggie smell. The overall cleanliness of room was poor. Dirt in corners. Tub was not clean. Overhead pipe below the ceiling in bathroom had black soot along the top of pipe. However the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean.

Good location

Pros: Its location
Cons: stop smoking near hotel lobby
Location: Off of 75.
Lots of room to walk the dog. Pillows were lumpy. Clean though and price was right.

Pros: Pet friendly & Price
Cons: Needs renovation but that costs money. Also would like scrambled eggs instead of the hard boiled ones.
Location: Excellent location.
This is our 3rd or 4th stay here so we know what to expect. We primarily stay here because we travel with our cat and this place is very pet friendly. The staff is always friendly and the accommodations are fine - it's just an older motel that has seen a lot of wear and tear but it's clean and comfortable. Location is good - close to restaurants, shops, right off I75. Breakfast is included and it's alright - would be nice to have some scrambled eggs vs. the hard boiled ones they always serve but for the price it's a decent stay for one night. As they say, it is what it is..

tv service

Our tv didn't work an when a repair guy came to fix it he told us this has been going on for a long time an he did try to fix it but couldn't, so we were with out tv for the whole night. My husband doesn't sleep well so he watches it most of the night and because of this problem he couldn't . So very disappointed and mad. We should of been told this when we checked in.

Run down hotel

Room was in disrepair. Carpet was stained and ripped by the door. Our door had a 1/2 inch gap you could see light through and a mosquito was flying around that we believe came in thru the gap around the door. Grounds were dirty with cigarette butts and dog poop that had not been cleaned up. Trash dumpster was overflowing. Room did not look clean there were still water rings in the night stands you could tell no dusting behind the night stands or deep cleaning had been done. This was my first and probably last La Quinta stay.

Pros: Pets welcome without any extra fees!!
Cons: The complimentary breakfast had watery orange juice & the waffle maker ran out of batter. It also needed a better variety of foods. Pillows to firm.
I stayed in Chattanooga for one night with my dog.
