Great riverfront view

Posted Aug 11, 2015
Great riverfront patio and accessible bar. Close downtown restaurants and entertainment. Rooms very modern and clean. My room was right next to elevator, but never heard and noise. Bed, pillows were fantastic!!

nice room, BUT....

Posted Jul 25, 2015
I thought your room was very nice. Bed was comfortable, pillows sucked. Walls paper thin. Kids hollered and ran up and down in the hallway all evening, and we could here them yelling in their room. When I pay $200 for a night stay, I think its tacky as can be to charge $7.32 for parking. Which we had to park clear across the lot cause it was packed. The view of the river wasn't much at all. Breakfast was no way as good as $59 rooms I've stayed at. I would never stay there again. I'm sure I can find better accommodations on my next visit. The best thing was it was close to the Southern Belle dinner cruise and that's why we came to Chattanooga in the first place.

Great hotel close to the aquarium. Comfortable beds, quiet rooms. Breakfast buffet had a long line, but we would definitely stay here again when in Chattanooga. The sofa bed was also nice, it allowed us to sleep 4 people in a double queen room with each child in their own bed.

Great Location and amenities.

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Location, View, Cleanliness
Cons: The breakfast food was a little lacking. That is the only thing negative about our stay. My eggs and sausage tasted terrible...
Location: Ruby Falls, Rock City, Downtown Chattanooga, Aquarium,
We had a great experience staying at SpringHill. We loved the close proximity to downtown as well as Ruby Falls and Rock city. The room was very clean and pleasant and the view was fantastic. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Slowest elevators EVER

Posted May 27, 2015 on Hotels
Slowest elevators EVER! It seemed like only one elevator was working on a holiday weekend. We waited forever, wasn't that big of deal until we were leaving and had our luggage with us. A good 15 minute wait for a five story building?? It was slow the entire stay but that day was horrid. The fire pit outside was nice but it was crowded so they might should think about added some smaller ones in other locations. The bartender was pleasant and courteous. For the price, and with the elevator issues we will stay in the midst of everything next time.

One night over Memorial Day

Posted May 26, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel is very nice, very spacious common areas and a great location for downtown Chattanooga and other attractions. Being a busy holiday weekend made our stay less enjoyable. Our room (#308) allowed every noise from our neighbors (to the side and upstairs, I suspect). From the running of the plumbing to the slamming of doors, to the ice machine it was loud at night. Add in the night owls who came to get rowdy well into the evening with little consideration for other hotel visitors and you have one miserable nights sleep. This was not really under the hotel's control so under different circumstances (a less busy time) it is a great property. The complimentary breakfast in the AM was well equipped and one of the more spacious I have seen lately.

Wonderful hotel

Posted May 20, 2015
Pros: Clean rooms, pullout couch, free breakfast
Cons: nothing
Location: Very close to the aquarium, restaurants and coffee shops
The hotel was beautiful and within walking distance of downtown. The rooms were very modern and new. Very clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was a great way to start the day!
