When to Fly to Bridgend

Flights to and from Bridgend
Over 11 different airlines fly into Cardiff Airport. The majority of international flights are to and from Spain, Ireland and the Netherlands, but there are also routes to France, Greece, Egypt and Malta, with flights to Germany, Italy, Jersey and Turkey starting in 2015. In addition, domestic flights to Anglesey and Norwich are due to start in 2015.
The busiest domestic routes are to and from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast, Aberdeen and Newcastle, while the busiest international routes are to and from Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Mallorca in Spain and Dublin in Ireland.
Transport to Bridgend After Your flight
The nearest railway station to Cardiff Airport is Rhoose Cardiff International Airport on the Vale of Glamorgan line. A shuttle bus links the railway station with the departures terminal, and a short 24 minute train ride connects the station to Bridgend station in the town centre, with trains running hourly from Monday to Saturday and every two hours on Sundays.
Bus route 303/304 runs between Cardiff and Bridgend, and bus stops on Port Road are within walking distance of the airport terminal building.
A taxi service operates from Cardiff Airport, offering fixed fares as well as telephone and online booking.
You can also drive from the airport along the B4265 (16 miles) or the A48 (19 miles) - either route will take approximately 30 minutes, though you may find yourself wishing it was much longer as you soak up the beautiful landscapes of the Vale of Glamorgan.
