No complaints except departure from Charlotte was delayed 40 minutes. I have heard of others having delays both directions on this flight so I suggest erring on scheduling a longer layover in Charlotte to avoid missing connections. When this flight started, they were using a "puddle jumper" turboprop aircraft but this flight was on a CRJ700 regional jet aircraft, which, though smaller, is as smooth a flight as a 717 or 737, though large carry ons may not fit in overhead bins but can be stored in a compartment and can be picked up as soon as one gets off the plane. I plan to continue to utilize the AA, American Eagle, Allegiant flights out of TOL. The flights are affordable and TOL is a modest airport and is easy to get through security and find one's gate. The last time I flew out of Detroit, it took almost 2 hours to check in and get through security and I had a layover anyhow and in Atlanta, which is a much more difficult airport than Charlotte.
