Overnight stayPosted Jan 20, 2018
Pros: Size, comfort, breakfast.
Stayed at Sydney House overnight for a theatre trip. Had a deluxe double room at the back of the hotel so nice and quiet.. Room was comfortable, clean with a big bed and the usual tea/coffee facilities. Complimentary big bottle of water was provided which is not always the case at all hotels but should be. The breakfast was excellent, well cooked with toast and pastries also provided. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice boutique hotel close to Kings RoadPosted Dec 17, 2017
Pros: Very friendly staff and a good breakfast.
Cons: A fridge in the room would have been useful
Location: In the heart of Chelsea. Not far from the Kings Road.
Comfortable small hotel with extremely helpful staff

Stylish boutique hotel in perfect locationPosted Dec 5, 2017
We always stay here if in London. The hotel is in a fantastic location, 5 mins from South Ken tube, 3 mins from the King's Road. Bed and linens extremely comfortable, and L'Occitane toiletries a nice addition. Highly recommended.

Nice Hotel, great locationPosted Sep 18, 2017
The staff at Sydney Hotel were excellent in all ways. They made the stay very enjoyable. The hotel is two blocks from South Kensington Subway station and there are many good restaurants in close walking distance. The hotel is in a residential area that is very attractive. This is a small hotel with a tiny lobby and a very small elevator. One piece of luggage and one person would fill be the elevator. Our room faced the street and it could be very noisy at times. The bathroom is modern and nicely furnished with toiletries, towels etc. There is not a restaurant on site but room service is available and a made to order breakfast is available. The internet connections are fast and free. The staff and the location make this a hotel I would book again.

Wonderful location in a safe and clean neighborhood which is also close to everything. The staff makes this hotel because they are top notch. Would definitely stay here again BUT only with a balcony room.

Forget you read thisPosted Jul 12, 2017
Pros: Just about everything.
Cons: It could have a particle accelerator that allowed me to transport there in seconds from Seattle, USA.
Location: This is Ground Zero Chelsea but, somehow, even with the Catherine Walker boutique, this isn't a stuffy street. Santander bikes, Sydney Arms pub. Love.
Under no circumstances should you stay here unless you appreciate fantastic location, a subtle, comfortable design scheme; incredible beds; strong, hot showers or even a local vodka from the East End. I would like you to leave room for me whenever I decide to go there so maybe stay at Claridges. Thank you!
