“Well Cottage is absolutely charming in every way! Great location, well appointed, and very clean with comfy beds and a great bathroom. (note: the bathtub/shower can be pretty high to step into for older or disabled folks but you can hold on to the sink to help you in--see the photos). About 9 steps to get upstairs. Bourton-on-the-Water is just a lovely village! A lot of other people must think so too--lots of tourists but they are well behaved, mostly families. Would love to stay there again....

“The cottage is very nice and has all you need for a pleasant stay. In case you need something and/or want some ideas what to do/where to go, Tichy ( Patricia) and Richard are ready to help. But the best thing about this cottage is it's LOCATION : starting from the cottage you can start kicking, cycling and you can visit a lot of little beautifull little towns, castles/mannors, gardens, ... after only a 30 min. drive. Oxford, Blenheim, the birthplace of Shakespeare, ... are within a 60 min....

“Chapel Cottage is a spacious but cozy quaint home that is incredibly convenient to nearby county sites, villages, gardens and museums.Sophia and Hugh were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed several conversations when we just happened to be out in the adjoining gardens at the same time. The cottage kitchen is well stocked for cooking and many DVDs, books, and games are available.We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and would not hesitate to rent Chapel Cottage again.”

“Loved this cottage! Was beautiful and very comfortable plus in a great location! We were able to walk to town and there was a pub next door if needed. Parking space was amazing to have right in front and the welcome basket was such a nice treat! Highly recommend!”

“Lovely property just a short walk into the centre of Bourton on the water, though beware there is a very steep hill to climb when walking back. Very spacious. Lounge and open plan kitchen could do with a bit of an update. Fabulous views across the country side and so many different species of birds to view from the very large window in the lounge. Owners very kindly left binoculars and a bird book. Extremely quiet setting. Stayed Friday to Monday and it was a really lovely break. ”

“This was a fantastic stay. The house is really well equipped with everything needed for a holiday stay whether for a few days or longer. “We REALLY enjoyed our visit to Winchcombe, and staying at the Dove Cottage was a highlight. It is exactly as advertised, with flexible accommodations, a central location, and responsive, friendly hosts. We would stay here again without hesitation. Upon your arrival, we highly recommend a pint of real ale in the back garden of the Lion Inn, just two minutes away. Dinner there, and at the local Indian place, was great too.”

“The cottage has been renovated nicely, and was well stocked, we arrived to fresh eggs, pastries, milk in the fridge, a bottle of Merlot, and firewood for the fireplace.
