“Very quiet place. Very friendly staff.”

“Picked this place specifically for the water park. Called ahead to confirm the dates/times it was open. Let’s just say, we had some very sad kids.”

“The rooms were old and dirty looking (stained furniture, stained carpet) and beds were small for a queen. The bathrooms were so old they looked dirty. Walls were bubbling with water damage and peeling paint. The bathtub was stained gray and brown and caulking was coming apart from wall and looked moldy. The pool room was so hot that it was unbearable to remain in to swim for any longer than 10 minutes. The hot tub was disgusting looking and didn't work. There were someone's fake eyelashes on the……

“When we arrived the clerk seemed confused and hostile. When we got in the room the toilet was running constantly and loudly. When we asked for a new room, even though the place was only half full, he was hesitant to give us a new room, but eventually he did. When we went to shower in the new room, which had a filthy bathroom, the towels literally stank horribly and were dirty and moldy, and when we went to get clean towels the two people working there became very angry and refused to give us……

“We had booked 2 rooms. One room smelled like smoke horribly. The other rooms bathroom had a horrible leak shooting up to the ceiling and the shower curtain was moldy. The floor was soft so the water has been damaging the bathroom for awhile. Stains in sheets and burn holes in blankets.”

“It’s old and abused, probably used for homeless, we needed a place to stay for one night and we were glad to find it. Our accommodations were cancelled without notice and most of the hotels were full up, making finding a place difficult. The ones we did find available, right next door prices on internet did not match the exuberant amount they were demanding. Howard Johnson’s was reasonably clean, there was a bed which sufficed. I do not regret staying there, it was quiet and I slept well……

“We always stay here when we visit family in Wichita. Pet-friendly and a beautiful walking path and park right behind the hotel. Friendly staff, breakfast is very good, and rooms are clean and modern. Very close to shopping, restaurants and staff is very accomodating and friendly.”
