Nice hotel to my convinience

Descent security check, Warm welcome, good escort to the room and briefing, nice breakfast,other usual comforts.on the whole I enjoyed my stay. Thank you

My Stay at the Hyatt

Pros: Hotel staff were more or less accomodating and professional. Hotel had a nice modern atmosphere in Chennai.
Cons: Hotels need to install good shower doors. The way that the shower doors are configured, it could easily flood the room.
Location: Crowded neighborhood and traffic due to the metro construction, particulary during the day time. Like anywhere else in India, can walk in the mornings
Air conditioning will need further maintenance. For a 5 star hotel my room was very musty and needed to be changed. In addition, the temperate gauges did NOT work on my air condo and thus the room was freezing. For events, the staff was really good and cooperative

Professional hotel with mod cons close to work.

Really enjoyed the Japanese and Chinese restaurants, menu and food were excellent. Rooms were clean and quiet. Used the shuttle service everyday and was very easy. Will stay again next time I am in Chennai for work.

Location: surrounded with traffic

Hotel in town

Very comfortable, there was an excellent selection of breakfast and dinner. Watch out for overpriced bottles of water though! The staff were extremely helpful. Lovely outdoor swimming pool - but very dark in the evenings - could do with better signage and lighting.

Very helpful staff

We used the hotel as a base whilst getting replacement travel documents. The staff were extremely helpful, and gave us a lot of assistance with using the Business Centre and getting the job done. Unfortunately, the location didn't allow for us to just wander out and explore, as it was on a busy main road. Again, the staff were helpful with organising taxis for us. There is a lovely outdoor swimming pool- unfortunately it has quite a few tiles missing and looked a bit tatty for a 5 star hotel. We were able to swim at night but it could do with better lighting as it was very dark finding your way.
