Internet was not working in my room. I checked in at 4 pm and they were struggling to fix internet issue till night 8 pm. I told them to leave it as I wanted to sleep. The same issue with TV, there were no Hindi channels. The supervisor offered to change the room at night 8:30. Totally horrible experience, never going to stay there again.

Property is overall good, be extremely careful about reviewing bills and payments, you might lose money otherwise. Always have receipts for cash payments, otherwise payments can repeat and you might end up losing cash. Keep record for everything. Cleanliness overall good but the bathrooms are leaky.

What I liked : courteous staff; professional; clean. Housekeeping requires special mention. What I did not like was the traffic roundabout in front of the Hotel (which is of course, beyond the control of the Hotel).

Excellent position for what I needed
The staff were excellent in every way and most helpful. The Reception people were polite and did all they could to make my 6 nights in the hotel as comfortable as possible. The room was spotlessly clean and extremely well serviced every day. The Sea Breeze Restaurant was delightful. Marvellous buffet breakfasts and superb evening meals. The place was a real treat and my stay there was most enjoyable. ALL of the staff are a credit to the management, who I am sure are proud of them. I hope to stay there again.

Was Great, very Spacious rooms and and clean however do not expect everything published on their website as there are plenty of things not available. Very slow or unavailable wi fi connection. I have to use my 4G network as 99% time network is too slow or not available.

Amazing stay in chennai
It's a amazing stay and moving forward for all my trip to chennai will stay at JP only. A small comment on complimentary breakfast if people arrive at 12 if u can swap for lunch or dinner would be great. I will recommend JP hotel for my friends and family.

JP hotel exceeded my expectations. All of their staff, from the bell boy to the waiter, to the receptionist Mr. Sasikumar had smiling faces and a ready to help mentality. I was able to appreciate little things like 3 bottled water daily in my room which was complimentary. I had minor issues with wifi and had to change my check out time at the last minute which was dealt with and resolved effortlessly and politely by Mr. Sasikumar, to which I'm very grateful. Wifi is available only on one device and there is no business center for printing. But I was able to get away without too much trouble. The hotel is opposite Chennai Mofussil Bus terminus which is how I came to know about JP hotel. The complimentary breakfast buffet was excellent and the obliging attitude of the staff only added to the quiet ambience of the restaurant. I saw Saravanaa Bhavan restaurant opposite the hotel too, but didn't get time to taste their food. Airport pick up and drop off was facilitated by the hotel at an additional charge. I found that the drivers (be it car/bus) in chennai are extremely rash in driving. In the meantime, kudos to Mr. Ahmed my drop off driver who was able to follow the traffic rules and also maintain a pleasant conversation amidst the existing chaos, which kept my mind at ease during the 25min ride to the airport. This hotel is a good choice and money well spent.

First time in chennai
Hotel was in good condition for me, but another family member who also stayed at the same floor mentioned his room smelt of smoke, which I have read is quite common in the reviews. There is wifi but it's not great, and is not reliable. The staff are friendly and help with bringing in the luggage up to your rooms and also with arranging taxis efficiently. The food was lovely but thought the lunch buffet was a little pricey for India- but did get plenty! Room is provided with free water bottles and you also get a kettle to make your own tea and coffee. Overall I would come here again, but wish it had better wifi!

Nice & Comfortable Hotel for Short Stays
I stayed at Hotel JP while I was on a business trip to Chennai. I must stay that it was a very comfortable stay. The rooms were very good. The bed and linen was comparable to any luxury rated hotel. They had an amazing breakfast menu. The a-la-carte meal was ordinary but that could also be because of choice of food. However there are some very good eateries in the neighborhood at a walking distance. The staff was very professional & co-operative. Lots of locals use this hotel for weddings & thats when it becomes a bit noisy. Overall I would say I was satisfied & recommend this hotel for a nice, comfortable stay.

Very good hotel, excellent Restaurant and excellent Hotels.Com deal. Only hiccup was the internet speed thats extremely slow due to their hotspot sharing. Not individual Router and WiFi I believe. Otherwise its a great stay.

The hotel is a little further than I expected (25-30 in taxi). That said I didn't want to pay double to stay at the Hilton and the closer hotels, so for the price I was happy. Room was fine. A little musty and smelled of cigarettes but the AC helped clear it out. Didn't have hot water in th shower. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and the staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms are quiet so I slept well.

1. Could not sleep in the nights as lot of noise in accommodation. Might be noise from 2nd floor party hall. I had to call reception at 1 AM. 2. Wi-fi was useless, keep disconnects every 4 to 5 minutes, cannot access any bank sites and its very slow, which takes long time to open gmail. 3. Morning Complimentary Breakfast is excellent. Have all varieties if South, North n Continental.
