A great room, highly recommend it for a short stay, the only small downside is the radiator in my room was broken so it was too hot, theres a fan in the room though which helped and they were very kind to let me have a 1pm late checkout, staff are very friendly and its bang in the heart of this beautiful town.

The staff were really friendly and helpful however that’s the only real positive I have for this place. The room was cold and noisy (the window was ancient and didn’t shut properly). It was clean but like the rest of the place badly in need of a lick of paint and some TLC. Parking was advertised as being included but the reality is there’s only a few places available and if full you have to pay car park fees over the road. So I spent an extra few quid more than I expected too over and above the agreed price. Breakfast was poor in my opinion. Wouldn’t stay here again

Old and quirky but very nice
Hotel is old and quirky as you'd expect from such an old building. Owners were very pleasant. Breakfast was delicious

All ok,but a warning the car park only has eight spaces,for 25 rooms,first come first served.there is another car park a few minutes away it’s £5.60 for 24 hours

The only negative thing about staying here for the first time was finding the car park of the hotel which after driving in a circle twice and stopping outside the hotel we were instructed where to go - written directions to find the hotel and car park at the rear of the hotel would have been a great help but the room and staff were fantastic

The bed is very sqeeky, the bathroom door doesn't shut, the window latch came off in my hand, the shower pressure is not good at all and not much hot water.

Staff are excellent Sorry there weren’t any evening meals on offer , we ended up in Wetherspoons which was pretty good food Beds were very creaky as was the bathroom door. Even though the bar was downstairs we didn’t hear a peep Right on the high street and has its own car park Wi-Fi was disappointing

A lovely weekend away
What a lovely place to stay! Our hosts were very friendly and helpful, allowing us to leave our car parked and access our room early. The family room was just right for us and clean and comfortable. It's in an ideal location in the middle of Chepstow and we hope that we will be able to come again and stay for longer!

Basic but good value overall
Great location in centre if Chepstow, single room was basic but comfortable enough (bed a little soft for my personal taste). Staff were really lovely and breakfast was very good. For the price i paid i thought it was good value for money.

Lovely staff but the accommodation areas and rooms are very tired . Beds in family room uncomfortable. These days higher standard's of comfort are expected. Great position in town and i reiterate lovely staff.. Just needs a good make over ..

Terrible room very dirty terrible attitude off the receptioniist the staff we came accross were not helpfull in the evening ..after complainijg the next morning we had a much better attitude and the owner came out to see what the room was like ..so after some delibartion we received our money back ..i must add the lady on duty in the morning cpuldnt do enough for us after seeing the state of the room

Warm and Welcoming
The management and staff are very warm and welcoming. They went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and assisted me with everything I needed. The food was amazing, especially the beef roast and they have a varied and full range of wines, beers and spirits.
