Stayed for 1 night on route from the south of France. Easy to find and comfy for our stay.

Cramped and run-down

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Receptionist was very pleasant and polite
Cons: Total refurbishment
Location: Close to Buffalo Grill - meals and staff very pleasant.
Stayed in Triple bedded room (in error) cramped with just two adults. Nowhere to put anything down other than the floor. Bunk bed corner very exposed and dangerous when attempting to use small table (wife hit her head very hard). Shower cubical rocked when in use and was in desperate need of refurbishment. There was no climate control (air conditioning) which was the primary reason for booking this hotel (28 C so air conditioning would have been used). It was very hot and stuffy, as the window only opened a few inches or the room became insecure. The cost of the room was far greater than all the other rooms booked on our journey. So disappointed.

In need

A very tired hotel in need of TLC and a complete refurb. Rusty metalwork frame of bathroom!! Staff were very helpful. This place is ideally sited and could be a asset to the company

Run down and not clean

Posted Sep 11, 2013
Pros: Nothing
Room not clean, bed sheets frayed, lumpy pillows, decoration very shabby, strong smell of smoke. In short never again. The layout of the room must have been inspired by a prison cell!!!

great for a stopover

Posted Aug 4, 2013
Although the rooms are small for 3 people, the staff are welcoming and friendly. Use it as a stopover and it is great, but don't try to use it as a base to explore the area as I think it would be too cramped for an extended stay. The restaurant next door is great, very friendly and relaxed with excellent food, but not overly cheap! you need to book.

Pros: Bed
Cons: No shelf space
Location: Convenient for motorway
Compared with the Premier Class Inn at Bourges it 2was like the poor relative. There was no shelf space, the lighting was very dim and the long vertical tube light was dirty on the inside which showed when it was turned on. On the plus side the beds were comfortable and clean. I would not wish to stay there again until it has been re-decorated.
